Chapter 6

Ryder

My mate, mine, I finishgrinding into her, my release spilling inside her. I caught the whiff of a wolf moments ago, making me wonder if Dagan enjoyed watching. We have to share this beautiful woman beneath me, and with war coming there is no way we can be fighting between ourselves over her.

I roll over, panting on the grass next to my mate. “That was phenomenal.” She declares. “But I think we should probably head back to the house and clean up. We have to talk.”

She’s right, I wish I could soak in this moment for all of eternity, but we must get back to reality of what is going on. I toss her my tattered shirt she shredded off me. “Use this for now.” She smiles at me and does just that.

“I think showers are in order first, then food. I’m starving.” Her stomach makes a loud noise, and she giggles. “We worked up an appetite.” She gives me a wink and stands up, holding her hand out to me.

Taking it, I stand up, without putting much weight into it, don’t need her toppling over. Images of her falling on top of me makes me hard again, seeing her ride me would be exquisite.

“You know my name?” I ask her, she called it out.

“Yeah, my mother told me before I found you what it was. Wouldn’t want the mistake that Dagan and I went through to happen again. So, she’s been slowly teaching me about things. Although the things I want to learn she hasn’t been.” She finishes cleaning herself up and looks to me. “Since you’re here now, maybe I can finally learn about the different supernaturals? I know I need to learn all about the witch stuff, but it would be nice to know about the people I’m reigning over. Don’t ya think?”

She’s right, absolutely. “You got it, both Dagan and I will tell you about our people, can’t tell you much about Demons and Angels, just heresy so that’s better left to your mother or Nev and Luc.”

She frowns. “Nev and Luc?”

“Those will be your other two mates, both Kings of their people.”

She nods, “Cool, no one tells me names around here, it’s like pulling teeth to get answers to things at times.”

Shaking my head, “Never again, you want to know something I’ll make sure you know it.”

She gives me a bright smile then takes my hand as we walk back to the house. “How did your transformation go? I saw the lights outside of the house, I’m assuming that’s you?”

“Yes.” She breathes heavily. “It was amazing and scary all at the same time. I wish I hadn’t gone through it alone, but Lilith insisted.”

“Dagan and I both would have been there if we’d been allowed. You wouldn’t have gone through it alone, but when witches get their awakening, they tend to destroy everything around them.”

She laughs. “That’s true, I destroyed that room. Lilith said she created it just for my turning so the rest of the house wouldn’t get wrecked.”
