Waking up, I groan. Goddamned hangover. “Hungover?” I nod, but that hurts, too. “Tylenol and water are on the nightstand if you can manage it. We’ll head home once you’re feeling a bit better. I’ll round up some food.”

I groan again, the mention of food has my stomach churning.

“Food will help, trust me.” Carson gets out of the bed and gets dressed. I watch him with one eye open, barely and he leaves, locking the door behind him. Probably so there isn’t another issue like the last time I was here.

Taking the Tylenol that Carson left for me, I roll over and stretch out. How much did I drink last night? I don’t think they mixed my drinks right because I swear, I only had four? That’s bikers for you though.

Carson comes back about twenty minutes later, carrying a plate and fork. “Bacon, a few eggs and plain toast.” He announces as he demands me to sit up so I can eat. I don’t want to, but the smell has my mouth watering.

“Thank you,” I breathe out, taking the plate from him and instantly picking up a piece of bacon to dip into my egg yolk. He made my eggs perfectly.

“Don’t thank me, I made Shannan make it for you.” I start to drop the food, but he smiles. “Don’t worry, I watched her the entire time.” I start to laugh but stop when I see his face. “That bitch wouldn’t do shit to the food anyway, she probably thought it was for me.”

I finish eating quickly and put the empty plate on the nightstand and get up. “Mind if I have a shower before we head home. I feel icky.”

“Yeah, I’ll join you in a minute,” he says, pulling out his phone and texting someone.

TWO HOURS LATER, I’Mshowered and at home in my pjs. Carson left about ten minutes ago to pick up Emily and spend time with her. He gave me something to think about, though. He wants us to move in together, and I’m okay with that, I just don’t want to leave my house. And he doesn’t want to give up his. A house I actually haven’t even been in yet, so I don’t know which house is better.

At the same time, Emily stays with his other daughter Melissa full time. I’m worried that if I move in, he’s going to bring Emily to stay with us and I’ll be basically a live-in nanny. Which isn’t something I want. I don’t mind Emily, hell, I even love the kid. But it’s too soon in this relationship for me to play mommy to his child.

If anything, I believe he and Emily should have time together before I start spending the night at the very least. He’s always at the club, or with me. Not leaving much time for his kids. And I don’t like that. It’s something I want to change but I have no say in those decisions. Although, I could say I don’t want to spend certain days with him. Though he might think I’m being a bitch if I did that. Sighing, I sit back in my chair and look at my computer screen, unsure of what I should do.

Someone knocks on my door, and I get up to answer it. “Tomas? Why didn’t you just use your key?” I ask him as I open the door and see it’s him.

He shrugs. “Just in case Carson isn’t fond of men just barging into the house.” He gives me a smile and I laugh.

“You’re my best friend, Carson will just have to deal with it. Anyway, he’s not even here right now, so it’s all good.”

“Wanna go shopping?” he asks me.

“You never want to go shopping.”

“Yeah, yeah, but we haven’t spent much time together lately, so I was hoping to do something, and I know how much you love to shop.”

“Count me in, just give me twenty to get dressed.”

He gives me another smile and sits on my couch to wait for me.

I shoot Carson a quick message to let him know I won’t be home for a while, that I’m going shopping and go and get ready.
