Dennis

Kimberly had to tell me again to turn around and that time I finally did. I was staring, I knew it. I knew that it was rude, especially to a friend, but I couldn’t help myself. She was perfect, her form one that I wanted to worship.

It was all so nonchalant with her. Kimberly had just walked toward me, small tits right in my face and asked for a towel. It had been so normal to her and I didn’t know what to say or think. I knew that she was pretty, I’d been attracted to her since the beginning, but this was too much. There was no way that I could see that and not immediately think about taking her to bed.

When she told me to turn back around, she was dressed, but I could still see it all, clear as day. I’d come there, breaking our little truce, to tell her what Chelsea had done. I didn’t know for sure that it was her, but Chelsea hated Kimberly. I think it was because she knew that I liked her, even if I had never said it out loud.

“So, what did she do that has you hoofing it all the way up here on the other side of campus?”

“She scratched something into the side of your car.”

She didn’t look happy. “Great, dad is going to kill me.”

“I will have it fixed.”

Kimberly just shook her head, clearly aggravated. She didn’t like when I threw money around. I came from a rich family and she didn’t. I tried to fix problems with money, because it usually worked quite well, but Kimberly was different. I knew that she wouldn’t let me fix it, and I would feel guilty about it when she had to take extra shifts studying sea scum at the zoo.

“Let’s go see it. How bad is it?”

I shrugged, still not able to think straight. Still seeing her naked in my mind. Damn, I don’t know if I was ever going to be able to look at her the same again. I needed to stop. I could see that she noted it, but I wasn’t able to. I looked away.

“You’re not going to like it.”

“Why are you beating around the bush, Dennis? Just tell me what she did.”

Her voice rose and I knew that her temper was about to come out.

“She wrote slut across both front doors.”

Kimberly paused and she just stared back at me. She couldn’t believe it and I couldn’t either when I first saw it. I knew that Chelsea was capable of it, obviously, but I still couldn’t believe that she would do such a thing. It was either her or one of her painted cronies that had done it for her. Either way, it was petty and would cost Kimberly.

“Like I said…”

“I know, you’re sorry. I am going to go check this out. You don’t have to come with me. I think we’ve been seen enough today.”

I was disappointed that she wasn’t mad. Mad I could deal with. This attitude, the one that is just fed up, I didn’t like that at all. I wanted her to not have to deal with Chelsea, but I knew that it was an impossible task. If only she would let me bring her into the fold. She could kick Chelsea out of it, I was sure. Kimberly was great, and if people would just give her a chance, without Chelsea poisoning everyone toward her, it could be just fine.

“Are you coming to the track later?”

The track was an old high school track not far from the dorms. It was our place where we met to go train or just to get together. It was a standing time, every Tuesday. I wanted to make sure that she was going to still come. I was afraid that she wouldn’t.

“Yeah, I am sure that I will make it out that way. I just have to go now, Dennis. I have class and I guess I’m going to have to call about getting my car fixed. Who knows, I might just leave it there.”

She waved and said she would see me later. Kimberly was more upset than she was showing, and I called a place that would take care of it. While she didn’t want me to do it or to talk about it, money smoothed things over and I wanted this to be something that I could smooth over for her. Not to mention, it was all my fault.

Chelsea messed with Kimberly because she wanted us to be together. I wasn't interested in her in that way, but for some reason, it just made her want me more. She was popular. All of the guys that were in the football team wanted to be with her. They thought I had already been with her and I just said nothing to continue it in that way. It was stupid on my part, but I had a reputation to uphold.

“I was startingto think that you wouldn't make it.”

“I almost didn't.”

“Why?”

“Well, for one, my car was gone when I got out of my class. It took me thirty minutes to find it and when I did, there was someone fixing the side of it.”
