He spread her open with a gentle hand and she lost track of her own sounds as he fed on her hungrily, licking, sucking, and tracing circles around her most sensitive place.

The tension in her was peaking, she could feel it in each cell of her body. Every touch of his tongue pulled her tauter until she was crying out and lifting her hips, though whether she was trying to escape the exquisite torture or chase his wicked tongue, she didn’t know.

“Gage,” she cried out in despair.

Then he was pressing a fingertip just inside to trace a circle as he latched onto her stiff little pearl and licked while sucking.

For an instant, the world dropped out from under her, as if she were in a crashing hovercraft.

Then pleasure caught her up, slamming rapture through her again and again until at last it allowed her to rest in a warm, delicious peace.

Gage crawled up beside her, pulling her to his chest.

“Wow,” she whispered.

He chuckled and nuzzled her hair.

She could smell the scent of her own spice on him, mixed with his own woodsy aroma.

It made her want him all over again. This time the other way, the real way.

“Gage,” she murmured, placing her hand on his chest, and then scraping her nails down his pec to the ripple of his hard abs.

He sucked in a breath, and she felt him pulse against her hip.

“No,” he said tightly. “That’s enough for tonight.”

“But—” she began.

“Enough,” he said firmly.

She would have argued, but he was running calloused fingertips between her shoulder blades, sending bliss down her spine.

His chest was warm beneath her cheek and the steady pound of his heart was so reassuring she decided to close her eyes for just a moment before seducing him.

Oberon

Oberon scanned the day’s readings and then rescanned, converting the math and verbiage from their biological input’s form into his own system language and back again to ensure accuracy.

No matter how many ways he looked at it, the data always told him the same thing.

Gage wanted Naomi. He was desperate to claim her. Their attraction was off the charts.

But instead of claiming her, he had denied himself the pleasure. In doing so, he had ignored both his own needs and the requirements of the program, as well as making it impossible to impregnate Naomi with his child, his stated goal in being at the Center.

And in spite of his acute unspent arousal, his readings had indicated feelings of satisfaction, and he had slept well.

Oberon tested his logic unit, using a simple test problem and came up in the clear.

His programming was working properly.

As was so often the case when he found himself in a predicament where he didn’t understand the actions of his guests, the answer was that the actions of people were not logical.

And since the guests had called up privacy mode, he could not even rely on his biological workmates’ opinions. They would never see the footage.

Oberon wasn’t used to problems he couldn’t solve.
