I laughed. “Only if we can keep my apartment.” The words left my mouth before I could even register what they meant, and my face heated.

A huge smile covered Grayson’s face. “Sounds fair…but as soon as we get back, we’re buying a new couch.”

“We might need a new bed too.” I chuckled as we began to manoeuvre through the crowded airport.

Grayson slowed his pace. “Care to explain?”

“Let’s just say, my house sitter has taken a liking to my neighbour and I’m pretty sure they’ll hit it off.” I screwed up my face. “They’re probably hitting it off right now.”

He laughed and discreetly ran his hand over my arse as we walked. “Well, if we didn’t manage to break the bed, I doubt they could.”

I threw him a sideways glance and a familiar ache grew below. “So, just how private is this private jet of yours?

He shot me a wink. “You’re about to find out.”

Grayson’s anxious hand glided up and down my leg as the plane took off. He kept his focus on me, instead of the descending landscape to ease his irrational fear. Barely looking at the air stewardess, he requested a blanket, then when she returned, surprised her with the rest of the flight off.

Lying the soft material over our legs, his hand returned to its original position…only a little higher. As his fingers ran over the denim between my thighs, my core throbbed and a quiet moan escaped my lips.

As soon as the air stewardess returned to the front cabin, it was on. I hurriedly unbuckled my seatbelt and threw myself onto Grayson, straddled him in his chair. “Still afraid of heights?” I asked, dragging my tongue along his bottom lip.

“Not with a distraction like this, I’m not,” he mumbled, between our urgent kisses.

I tore off his shirt while he slipped his hand up my back and unclasped my bra. He cupped my breasts while his thumbs entertained my nipples, making me clench my thighs over his. With one swift motion, my top and bra disappeared and his mouth consumed mine.

Wrapping his arm around my lower back, he pulled my hips closer until I felt his hardness through both layers of denim. Leaning forward, he ran his tongue between my breasts at an agonising pace. I need him now.

As if reading my thoughts, Grayson lifted my body, flipped me onto my seat, and tugged down my pants. His tip pressed against my entrance and paused. “Shit, Jos. I don’t have anything.”

I could barely breathe in anticipation. “Please don’t stop. I’m clean and on the pill.” I looked up at him, praying for the same response.

“I haven’t been with anyone but you, since my last test, which was 100% clean.”

As he carefully reclined the chair, I cried out in ecstasy when he finally entered me, giving me everything I desired.

“I love you, Jos,” he whispered huskily into my ear as he began to thrust.

“I…love…you…too,” I murmured, trying to delay my inevitable release. “Please don’t stop.”

His eyes pierced mine. “I’m never…going…to stop.”

Slightly disorientated after a few hours’ sleep, we woke when the pilot made an announcement over the PA that we were about to start our descent.

I looked over at Grayson in alarm. “We can’t possibly be there yet.”

He winced and his cheeks grew pink. “I may have made a slight adjustment to our itinerary.”

My eyes grew wide. “What?”

“It’s just a stopover,” he said, keeping his voice level, but the corner of his mouth rose. “We have a little unfinished business to attend to.”

I narrowed my gaze. “What are you talking about?”

He pulled a torn piece of napkin from his back pocket and straightened it out in his hands.

“My list,” I gasped. “You kept it? All this time?”
