“We can’t touch you anymore, because you’re his? You’re going back to the guy who left you in pieces at my feet? I held you, Lakyn. Wiped your tears. Wrapped you in my fucking sweatshirts to keep you warm. The three of us, we took care of you, not him,” he lashes, his hand whipping toward Reign. “He might be my best fucking bro, but he isnotthe one for you.”

Reign chuckles. “And you are?” My eyes shift to Reign’s, and I see him walk silently up to Archer. My eyes widen as he grabs Archer’s shoulder, tearing him away from me. “I told you not to touchmyfucking girl,” he seethes.

Archer loses it, his fist cocking back and hitting Reign straight in the face. Reign was anticipating it, and he takes the hit before landing one of his own, straight in Archer’s jaw. They start going at each other, every single hit making me cringe, and I step back, not sure what to do.

I glance over my shoulder at Creed, tears springing to my eyes. I love them both. I love them all. “Do something, Creed!”

He lifts his cup to his lips, taking a sip of his steaming coffee. “No.”

I glance at Kyler, and all he does is shoot me a glare. “This is all you, Lakyn,” he snaps, storming out of the room. A moment later, the front door slams, and I jolt in place.

“Fuck you!” Archer roars, knocking his shoulder into Reign. He tumbles over the couch, landing directly in the center of the coffee table. The feet break, and the table goes crashing to the ground, broken splinters of wood flying around them.

“Stop!” I cry out, tears streaming down my cheeks as I race toward them. My hand goes to Archer’s shoulder, tense and stone beneath my shaky fingertips. “Please, stop. I don’t want this!” I scream.

He pauses, turning toward me. His eyes spit fire as he grabs at Reign’s shirt, lifting it slightly. Air caresses my cheek, and rage lights his eyes when he realizes I’m naked underneath. “You fucked him, Lakyn. You know the rules. You know what I told you when he came back. Don’t go back to him.I warned you, and you fucking went against me,” he snarls.

His head flies to the side, Reign’s fist powering into his cheekbone. They tussle until they’re a mess of limbs on the ground, and forget all about me standing there as they begin tearing into each other again.

They grunt, groan, their hands turning red as the skin shreds from their knuckles.

I turn to Creed, pleading with everything in me. “Creed!” I scream, my hands slapping against my bare thighs. “Help me!”

His eyes fall to the ground, watching them bleed out on the wooden floor. He lets out a sigh, pushing his coffee cup aside and his chair back, before he stands up.

Slowly as hell.

“Are you kidding me right now?” I snap.

He barely spares me a glance as he walks into the living room, tucking his hands into his sweatpants pockets before stopping next to me, staring at them lazily.

I narrow my eyes, growling at him. “You’re no help, Creed. None at all!” I snap, stomping toward the two on the ground.

I kick Archer’s foot, but he and Reign are so twisted up that I don’t even think they notice me there.

That’s enough.

I jump between them, shoving my legs against Archer’s stomach and my shoulder against Reign’s chest. I groan and cry as they hit each other around me.

“Get the fuck out of here, Lakyn!” Reign roars.

“No!” I scream, my nails digging into any and every inch of skin I can find.

They both pause, separating from each other, and I fall to the ground between them. They loom over me, both of them panting heavily as they watch me with narrowed eyes.

Reign looks possessive and angry, and Archer looks betrayed.

“The last person you fucked ended up dead in my arms, Lakyn. Didn’t you learn your fucking lesson?” Archer growls.

Reign stiffens above me, and I scramble to my feet, glaring at him.

“Reign isn’t an outsider,” I snap.

Archer’s eyes narrow. “It doesn’t matter. He tells me we can’t touch you anymore. Did you really think that would fly with any of us?”

No, I didn’t, which is why I didn’t want Reign to say anything. I knew all it would cause is a war, and I don’t want to see any of them lose.

“You can play this game of house all you fucking want, Lakyn. You know it’s not going to end well,” he snaps, before storming away. Creed reaches for him, and Archer shoves him off, heading toward the stairs.
