There is quiet silence, coming down. My eyes are shut and the room is dark. But Alaska is running her fingers up and down my back so gentle and soothing.

“I’ve got to pee.” She wiggles her naked body underneath mine. I lift off her, find her face and do my best to glare. I kiss her before I let her go.

In the meantime, I take the condom off and tie it and chuck it in the trash. When she comes out of the bathroom, I meet her halfway.

“Stay.” It’s one word, but I don’t know what I am asking. Stay the night, fuck, stay the weekend. What did the grandma inMulanshout about the solider guy?

Fuck, would she like to stay forever?

And for some fucked up reason, she does.

It’s too early to deal with this shit. I check my clock on the nightstand, seven-thirty. Damn, and the one day I get to sleep in.

“Where are you going?” Rubbing my eyes, trying to find her with all the rumbling she is doing.

“I have to go.” The queen of darkness is looking for something. “I can’t find my phone, so I used yours to text my cousin to come and get me.”

“Regret doesn’t look good on you, Alaska.” I try and reach out and touch her, but she is too far away. I am too exhausted for a game of chase today. “But do you know what does? My cum, all over that ass.” She came around in perfect timing for me to spank her very clothed body.

How long have I been asleep? When did she get dressed?

“Oh, don’t take it personal, my ass makes your cum look good, not the other way around. Think before you speak next time, sweetie.” Alaska taps my cheek and goes back to throwing things around.

“Bitch.” Closing my eyes again, trying to find my Zen.

“Bully.” Counteract fired.

“How am I the bully?” Dragging myself to focus on her.

“You are the one that keeps calling me a bitch.” This is true; she makes some good points.

Fuck, am I going to have to apologize?

“It’s not like I mean it, it’s just a word.”

“Sometimes words are hurtful, Lad!” Wow, she must be mad; she pointed at me, and I don’t think I have the courage to tell her three fingers point back at her.

“Fuck, okay, Alaska, I’m sorry.” But Aly isn’t playing this morning. “Alyeska, I’m sorry, I won’t call you a bitch anymore, I promise.” I correct her name to see if it wins me points.

“We will see how long that lasts.” Not an ounce of faith in me.

“Don’t doubt me already, baby, the fun is just getting started.” I reach out for her hand and she shakes her head, but laughs.

“Baby? I think I might like bitch better. Why are you looking at me like that?” Alyeska must have forgotten what happened last night.

“Because I’m happy, I had incredible time last night. Would you rather I be pissed?” I tuck a pillow under my sleepyhead.

“I don’t know, it just seems odd, freaky even, that you are smiling at me.” I can understand her hesitation.

“Come here.” It’s a small command.

“What?” Now she is worried.

But I flick my fingers forward.

Aly does her best to hold strong, but eventually rolls her eyes and comes over.

“Don’t overthink this.” I kiss her until she closes her eyes and crawls on top of me.
