“They lived in the A.D. era, I can’t remember. But a long time ago.” Aly’s words makes me think of any times I got a splash on my face or somehow touched that body of water.

“Thank you for the added stress; sometimes I jog on the path down there. Guess I will find a new place to stretch my legs.” I close my eyes for a few seconds and then find Aly’s face close to mine.

“I guess I could get off your lap now.” Aly stares at one eye, then the other then down to my mouth.

“Guess you could.” But I pull her closer, my cock liking how she feels hanging over us.

Aly’s eyes flare with something. I ignore my friends as they taunt us to get in the water. But Aly dips her head forward and she kisses me. I was waiting, because I didn’t know if the other night of us sleeping together was a one and done type of thing.

Of course I wanted way more than one night with her. My hand sculpts around her neck, deepening the kiss as I bring her tighter against my chest.

“Lad.” Fuck, she can’t be moaning my name out here when I have five people in the audience.

“Don’t start something, I can’t finish us both off.” Greed, it starts to come and if I was a monster, I would growl.

“Lad.” She rubs her behind down onto my growing bulge without hesitation. God damn it, she is doing this on purpose.

“Aly, I am begging you.” I kiss her one more time and she backs down. Thank goodness, because I was not looking forward to having to explain why I didn’t have any shorts on.

“I like when you beg.” Aly’s words are hot against my ear.

“Okay, time to take a swim.” I lift her up and put her back down. I dive off the side of the boat without another thought. The cool water splashes against my body and it relaxes me instantly.

Alyeska’s laugh greets my ears as my head pops above water. Rush and I do flips off the back of the boat. After a couple hours playing around, we are ready to head home. It’s past midnight; the guys and I have practice in the morning.

“Alright, let’s head back.” Rush reaches forward and turns on the stereo. The music starts out loud and I shuffle around everyone to get to the driver’s seat.

Someone knocks into me and I pull back on speed, trying to regain my balance. But the boat shoots forward and then I hear a splash and I stop the boat to hear Alyeska freaking out in the water.

“Oh shit.” I kick off my shoes and dive overboard to get to her. It’s dark, but I can see where the splashing is coming from. Rush must find a light because he turns it on us and it shines.

“I can’t swim, you assholes.” Aly goes under and then comes back up choking.

“Don’t worry, baby, I’ve got you. Trust me. I won’t let you go that easy.” I it make to her in a few seconds. My arm reaches under the water to hold her around the waist.

She is coughing and I try to hold her up as I get us both back to the boat.

“Relax, Aly, I’ve got you, I wouldn’t let anything happen to you. I promise.” The promise is cold on my lips. I grab the back of the boat, so she can hold on and catch a breath.

“Oh shit, you cool, Aly?” Rush leans over the edge, but I wave him off.

I see her finding me through streaked makeup eyes.

“Why didn’t you let me drown? Any reasonable sane person who wants to save humanity from my wrath would.” I can see her shaking; she is cold and panicking about almost drowning.

I bring my body around her, hoping I can calm her down.

“Maybe I like watching the disruption unfold; sometimes it can get boring in my Pleasantville life. Or maybe I don’t want to play enemies anymore; consider saving you as my white flag.” I wipe my forehead off and lift her up to get out of the water in her wet clothes.

“If we aren’t enemies and sure as hell aren’t friends, where the fuck does that leave us, pretty boy?” Aly climbs over into the boat and wraps my towel around her. I grab another towel and hold it against myself.

Rush drives us back, slowly.

“Something more, Aly. Something better.” I hold her against me and pray those words come true.

Rush docks the boat and I rub Aly’s shoulders one last time before I hop out to go grab the truck. The rest of the crew follow onto the deck after me, the sound of water lapping against the wooden pillars. I run up the hill and back the truck into the water as Rush angles it onto the trailer.

My friends stand to the side as we say our goodbyes. Eyes keep going to Aly as she sits there shivering a little.
