“Just give me another minute.” He shoulders my thighs apart and takes a long, slow look before licking me good morning.

“It’ll be quick,” he promises.

I gasp as an orgasm begins building inside me. It ripples in waves of heat and desire, flowing out of that sacred place between my legs.

As much as I’d love to stay all day, we can’t. But we’ll be right back in this bed tonight and every other night.

Lunch with all the family is wonderful and fun. But the best part happens at the end of the day when I end up having a heart to heart with Easton’s mom.

"Oh, honey, call me Sally." Easton's mom beams a smile, and a weight lifts off my shoulders. "It's obvious you are crazy about each other. We knew it the day we met you."

She stares at me and sighs after a few moments of silence.

"Thank you. For my son." I stare at her, confused. When I don't respond, she continues. "Easton went to war and never truly came back. And then he met you, and well, you've brought my son back."

I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of emotion, tears sting my eyes, but Easton gives me a conspiratorial wink that sends a shiver of excitement prickling across my skin.

I have no idea what to say. I open my mouth and close it again.

"You don't need to say anything." Sally squeezes my hand, then heads toward the kitchen.

I understand so much more about him, and I am grateful for everything we share. The good, the bad, the new and different.

All of our experiences make us richer for being together.

I love him to the moon and back and cannot wait to find out what the future has in store.
