Hannah: I know where to find him if I do

Nicole: what if he wants to find you?

Hannah: if it’s meant to be it’ll happen. I’m not going to hold my breath.

I didn’t have to leave tomorrow. I could stay as long as I wanted. Working for my father’s business I used the daddy’s little girl card constantly to get out of work. Not that I needed the money. I worked to keep myself busy. Out of trouble was how my father saw it.

It was part of why I wanted to shape up when I got back. Being seen as the boss's daughter and knowing I just needed to pout and my father let me do as I please needed to stop. While I enjoyed being treated like a spoiled princess, it would not get me anywhere in life.

Listening to Bryce talk about his farm really struck something inside of me. The passion and dedication he had wasn’t something I had ever felt before. Not to mention the way he looked on that bull. Shit, he had two passions he was amazing at handling and I had nothing.

Sitting down at the desk in the hotel room I grabbed a piece of the stationary. Scribbling down a single thought I placed it in an envelope. It wasn’t much but maybe it was a step in the right direction. A new start for me. One where I put others first and guard my heart a bit more.

The next morning I walked down to the lobby with my luggage packed and a new attitude.

“I’m going to be checking out early.”

The woman behind the desk assisted me with little to no questions.

“One other thing, it’s a little odd. I don’t know what his room number is but there’s a guest here, Bryce Gregory. Would you be able to give him something?”

“Of course Ms. Denson. No problem. Is there anything else we can help you with?”

“No, that’s all, thank you so much.”

Walking out to the ride I had scheduled I looked over my shoulder. I knew I’d see Bryce again. It might just be on the tv or in a magazine when he was winning and living his dream.

Chapter Six

Bryce

The weight of the pillow colliding with my face startled me awake. “What the fuck man?”Tossing the pillow back at Rowan I completely missed the mark. He was waving his phone at me.

“Yeah what the fuck man is right. How many Bryce Gregory’s do you think are in this area right now? Because my bet is one and he’s in this very hotel room right now.”

Scrubbing my hands over my face I did not know what the hell he was talking about. Picking my phone up, it had over a dozen missed calls from my family and twice as many texts.

Shit.

Whatever happened, I was in trouble now missing so many attempts to reach me.

“What the hell did I miss? It’s not even that late.”Shoving his phone in my face a website was open.

Last Minute Mystery Entrant Wows Crowd With Record-Breaking Ride

Oh fuck.

My eyes scanned down the article.

‘It’s no surprise to learn that yesterday’s most spectacular rider, Bryce Gregory, grew up on a farm. His family-owned farm, Gregory Orchards in Riverside New Jersey, means he’s no stranger to being a cowboy. Sources tell us he may be the newest member of Cole Blossoms PBR crew.’

“Is that where you were yesterday? Why’d you lie?” The sound of disappointment coated Rowans’ words as his face turned down.

“It’s not what you think Rowan. I just, well I went to just check it out. I didn’t think it was such a big deal. This article its speculation.”

Handing him back his phone he looked down again.

“I saw the video man. You’re fucking good. Why the hell would you not do it?”
