I braced myself as I felt his movement speed up. Without warning, my body lifted into his, as a second orgasm rolling through my body in response to his.
“Fuuuuuck…”I mumbled as my back arched causing our stomachs to touch as we rolled through the same feeling simultaneously. I had never had more than one orgasm. Nevermind one that didn’t involve heavy foreplay and being touched.
Slowing down he finally gained his bearings and looked down at me. His mouth sweeping across mine softly.
“Did you just come twice Darlin?”
I nodded, my breathing erratic.
“I don’t think I’ve ever had a girl come twice. I mean I have, but usually with my hand or mouth first and then…”He trailed off as he rolled his body next to mine.
“I rarely come without being touched.”
The smile on his face stretched wider. I wanted to ask what this all meant. At the same time I didn’t want to ruin the moment.
Wrapping his arm under me he pulled me closer. My head naturally nestled into his chest. His fingers trailed my arm and I fought back a shiver. Pressing his lips against my hair he exhaled.
My hand rested on his perfect abs. His naked body was still on full display next to me. How did he do that? Lay next to me with no shame at all?
“Hannah?”

I lifted my head enough to look at him. Even though every fiber of my body told me to avoid eye contact.
“Why did you just leave? I got the note you left but I couldn’t ever figure out why you didn’t say goodbye.”
I had spent two years asking myself the same question. Trying to justify why I did it. There was no good reason besides the truth.
“I didn’t have a shot with someone like you. I mean look at you and look at me. I knew it would just be some vacation one-time thing for you. Didn’t want to get hurt.”
“You really didn’t get that I was into you?”
I shook my head. It wasn’t the complete truth. I wanted him to be into me. A small part of me thought he might be but then I’d look in the mirror. See the fact that my thighs touched. My stomach wasn’t flat or toned. Someone with his body, strong, hardworking, basically perfect, could never look at me and think I was worth their time.
“I’m a fucking idiot then darlin. I was trying to be respectful. Not just jamming my tongue down your throat the minute I saw you.”
“I went to your farm a few times hoping I’d run into you. You were never there. But I met your brothers and then your sister. We got to talking, and I mentioned I was in school. She told me if I ever needed a job or anything let her know.”
His fingers interlaced with mine.
“Hannah, can I take you out? Like on a proper date.”
“I’d like that.”
Resting my head back down on his chest I could feel his heart steady itself. Meanwhile, mine was racing still.“Bryce?”
“Yeah?”
“Can you stay the night?”
Uncertainty bubbled into my chest. Asking him to stay felt like asking him to move a mountain. His grip tightened around me.
“Didn’t think it was an option to leave darlin.”
We didn’t bother putting clothing on. Somehow falling asleep completely naked didn’t feel strange or unnatural. Wrapped in his arms the world felt like it faded away around us.
