Demi wiped snot from under her nose before taking a deep breath. “They took Cat.”

“Ouch!” Amara shouted when Demon’s grip on her hand turned painful.

He quickly pulled his hand away and said, “Sorry.”

Demon glanced over Amara’s raven hair and nodded at Zeus. He gave each sister a kiss on the cheek before standing up. “I’ll be right back.”

“Give me the motherfuckin’ low-down. Now,” Demon said under his breath as he reached Zeus in the kitchen. Demon ignored Devlin’s glare. He’d probably seen what happened in the clubhouse between him, Cat, and that fuckin’ sweetbutt.

“Amara called me screaming about Cat fighting with someone in our backyard. I told her to stay inside, hung up and called you. About eight minutes later we got here and found Evan K.O. at the back of the house, and a hole in the fence. That was about five minutes ago. I’ve sent Angel and Dragon with the prospects to check both routes out of this street. We’re waiting on Fox to get us back into our own security feed since the fuckers hacked our system.”

Fox sat on a barstool, typing on a laptop in front of him on the kitchen counter. As their go-to guy for everything tech, Fox needed to come through.

Zeus gave Fox a brisk nod, who turned the laptop around, showing the camera feed of the Doukas’ home.

Demon watched Cat open the patio door, smiling at herself as she held something in her hand while she rummaged around in her pockets.

Demon reached out and paused the clip. “What’s that?”

Zion slid a blunt across the kitchen counter. “I found this next to the door.”

Demon hummed and started the clip again. He watched Cat stiffen as she peered at the back of the dark backyard.

“Motherfucker…” Zion whispered as some guy ran from the hammock at Cat at full speed. Demon watched Cat on screen as she turned the lock of the patio door and saved his sisters before taking a harsh blow to her stomach. The audio of Cat hurting made his blood run cold.

While Cat’s fierce self-sacrifice did some weird shit with his heart, his ears drummed with rage as he watched Cat fighting that coward. Demon would keep the rage fester inside and use this fury for the moment he could gut this fucker with his own two hands.

He silently thanked Zeus and Devlin for allowing Cat to fight for their underground fight club as he watched her break that miserable fuck’s nose. The weirdest sense of pride washed over him as he heard the guy squeal like a little pig.

“Fuck. There’s more…” Wolf said.

They needed to show up with three guys to take Catriona Walker with them. Cat kept her head up high as she walked backwards, luring them into the porch light.

“He called her Catriona,” Gwenn whispered.

Zeus locked eyes with Demon for a moment. This was worse than he thought. It proved to be a direct hit on Cat since they had done their homework and only made an effort in snatching Cat instead of Amara and Demi, who had been home all evening.

“Where’s Nora?” Demon asked.

“She’s staying in my room at the clubhouse with Teagan,” Devlin said.

“Good,” Zeus said.

Demon watched Cat hold her ground against the bikers.

“That’s right, Cat. Keep them talking,” Devlin mumbled.

“Your sister is one tough broad, Dev. Whirlwind’s going to make it,” Wolf said.

Demon didn’t want to hear about Cat going to make it, because that would suggest there was a chance she wouldn’t.

“Show me the feed from that fence in the back,” Demon barked.

Fox shook his head. “We lost connection to six of our cameras five minutes after Cat arrived at the house. They must have been watching and waiting.”

“You tellin’ me that some fuckers took Cat from our Prez’ home and all we found is a fucking blunt on the ground? And this little clip?” Demon flexed his fingers, satisfied that the coldness in his voice made a few of his brothers sit up straight.

“Fuck!” Devlin threw a glass vase across the room, breaking it in hundreds of pieces on the kitchen floor. Amara and Demi sucked the oxygen out of the room with their shocked cries.
