With a surprisingly renewed focus and cleared head, Cat waded through the water until she reached the point the river reed stopped where a bend in the river appeared.

Cat looked over her shoulder, the dark night sky unable to cover the two floodlights coming her way. She turned her head and came eye to eye with Snare crouching in the water before her.

“Fancy seeing you here…” he said before he instantly grabbed her by her throat.

Cat leaned back, her hands frantically searching for another rock in the water behind her back. She gasped for air as Snare closed his fist around her throat.

“Tell me… Did Ulf struggle when you killed him?”

Her left hand found a smaller rock, slightly bigger than her thumb. She wrapped her fingers around the rock, letting the rock stick out from her fist.

While Snare’s fingers were about to snap her neck with his brutal force, she pulled her left arm out of the water and aimed directly at his right eye. His shouts traveled over the water, alerting his asshole friends.

She pushed the rock further and further into his eye when he let go of her throat to catch her wrist. Cat didn’t relent though, ignoring him alerting his friends by his cries.

Snare let go of her wrist to cover his eye socket with his hands and she got up and ran through the water. The stream slowed her down, and it didn’t surprise her that Snare easily grabbed her from behind.

He lifted her out of the water, walking up the riverfront with his arms around her middle. She kicked and elbowed him, but he didn’t let go.

“You’re mine now, bitch. I’ll show you what I do with empty eye sockets. I’ll fuck you in every hole you’ve got.”

She heard the truth in his voice. He would try such a heinous act, without a doubt.

“Fuck off, creep!”

“Ah, you’ve found her!” Man Bun said before he clocked her like he’d done in Zeus’ backyard. Only this time, she faked passing out.

She let her limbs hang lifeless as she rolled back her head in her neck and closed her eyes. With great restraint, she let Snare grab her left breast, squeezing her C-cup like he would rip it from her torso. She didn’t even react when another hand grabbed her crotch.

“Okay, she’s out. I get to go first when we get back,” Snare said.

“Fuck that,” Man Bun shouted.

“I can’t see with this eye because of her, asshole!”

“Silas called, they’re not picking her up tonight. There’s too much heat with IVMC going by a few of our locations. We’ve got her all to ourselves for the rest of the night,” Mud said.

As he carried her through the forest, she thought about her brother Devlin and his brothers. They were looking for her at the right MC, but not at the right location. She prayed they would somehow find out about this cabin.

Once these assholes would trap her in there, all bets were off.

This could be her final fight, and she needed to prepare herself to fight till death.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Demon pushed his bike through the overgrowth, parking it between some trees with the front toward the dirt road so he could get out of here in a flash—if needed.

Zion parked his bike next to his before he checked his phone. “Angel and Dragon are ten minutes out. Do you want to wait on them?”

“What do you think?” Demon grumbled.

Zion needed to stop asking stupid questions and wasting his time.

Zion held up both hands and said, “Sorry I asked. Okay. Lead the way.”

Demon may not have been in the Navy or Army like a few of his brothers or even Gwenn, but he knew how to sneak up on people. He walked through the dense forest next to the dirt path, keeping an eye out for a cabin along the path.

He knew Zion followed him without needing to look over his shoulder. After making his way through prickly branches for over twenty minutes, he held still when a run down hut came into view.
