“We always come home together, how else was I supposed to surprise you?”

I wasn’t really interested in throwing out ideas right now. Jaime is the epitome of sin and I’ve been avoiding touching him since he got hurt. Nudging him until he landed on his back, I hiked up my skirt and straddled him. His eyes heated and he lifted his hips to grind against me, all hints of teasing gone.

“Did Dr. Sean say you could do something like this?”

He was barely listening, his grip on my hips tight as I slowly dragged myself up and down his erection. Groaning, he tugged at my clothes, trying not to disturb the motion of my hips.

Leaning over him, I drew his bottom lip into my mouth and sank my teeth into it lightly. His hips jerked and his eyes slipped shut. His reactions were still intoxicating and when I shifted and slid my hand into his boxers, he let out a guttural groan.

“Fuck, Bex, please…”

“Answer the question, Jaime.”

He was already breathing like a freight train, thrusting into my hand, but I kept my grip loose. He wasn’t getting what he wanted unless he told me what I wanted to hear.

“Y-Yeah. He said as long as I’m careful, I–”

That was all the answer I needed and I wrapped my hand more firmly around him, pumping him roughly. He let out a shout, thrusting his hips, his face a mask of pleasure. I released him to pull my blouse over my head and he sat up quickly to help me, pulling off the rest of my clothes and his boxers. He was eager and his hands were everywhere, making me ache for him.

“Jaime…”

He groaned again and leaned his forehead against my chest. I loved tormenting him. It didn’t take much, a moan or whispering his name, but it always drove him nuts and I reveled in it.

Rocking my hips against his, I felt him slide against me and my breath caught. After a few weeks of not being able to touch him, I was needy for him so instead of keeping up the torment like I normally would, I lifted onto my knees so I could reach between us and reposition him, sinking down onto his cock with a moan.

His head flew back and his hips jerked like he couldn’t help himself. I took over, lifting off him and sinking back down with every roll of my hips. He shouted and groaned, his grip on my hips tight as he encouraged me. We were both rushing towards release and I felt myself tense in anticipation.

“Bex… baby, look at me.”

Opening my eyes, I dropped my chin back down so we were eye to eye. He never actually laid back down and his arms were wrapped around me. His eyes were smoldering and I could feel him twitching, he was so close but he cupped my cheek and kissed me softly, whispering the one thing I wanted to hear.

“I love you, Bex.”

My heart melted and when he pulled me in for a kiss, it was sweet and gentle and so Jaime that it set me off and I fell apart, moaning and moving my hips through it. His eyes went wide and he jerked underneath me, thrusting his hips until he came with a shout a minute later.

Keeping us wrapped around each other, I pressed my lips to his before responding. “I love you too, Jaime. So much.”

He sighed, shutting his eyes and pressing his forehead against mine. We stayed that way, just holding each other for a minute. This was where I was meant to be and nothing could make this moment better.

“I got you something.”

Blinking my eyes open, I frowned. “You didn’t have to do that. I told you I’d rather just spend Christmas with you.”

He lifted a shoulder, a grin overtaking his face. “Call me cocky if you want, baby, but I know you’re going to like this gift.”

Rolling my eyes, I let him move away, shivering when he slipped out of me. He disappeared into the bathroom and I grabbed his shirt from where he’d tossed it on the floor while he was getting ready for this little surprise, pulling it over my head. He came out of the bathroom with a big box in his hands and I frowned.

“Jaime, you still aren’t supposed to be lifting anything heavy,” I warned.

He snickered. “It’s not that heavy, I promise. Come on, open it.”

The box was massive and when I stepped up to it, it moved. Raising an eyebrow at Jaime, I pulled the lid off, my hands flying to my mouth when I saw what was inside.

“Samwise!”

He was sitting in the box, looking none too pleased about being put in there, but he didn’t seem like he was in a rush to leave either. I reached for him, pulling him into my arms and against my chest. His purring soothed me even as tears streamed down my face. When I looked at Jaime, he smiled softly at me.

“I put up some fliers in your building. One of your neighbors found him and was taking care of him but they didn’t know who he belonged to. His collar was missing.”

It was a breakaway collar, designed to snap off if he got it caught on anything so he wouldn’t get hurt. He has a chip but a lot of my neighbors are older and might not know about things like that. I buried my face in his fur, soaking him up.

Jaime came around behind me, cuddling me against him. With him and Samwise, I had everything I needed and I couldn’t help melting against him.

“Thank you, Jaime. For everything.”

I felt him smile as he pressed his lips to my shoulder.

“Merry Christmas, Bex.”
