“Are you right about what?”
Mariana and Gabi had wandered up behind us, their husbands trailing behind them. I lifted an eyebrow at Jo and she bit her lip.
“I wasn’t supposed to say anything. It’s still early.”
Gabi frowned. “Say anything about what?”
Liam cleared his throat, looking way too damn pleased with himself. “Jo’s pregnant.”
Gabi’s mouth fell open and I couldn’t help my grin. I tugged her forward, hugging her tightly. “Congratulations!”
“You too?”
Mariana’s voice was quiet but we all caught it and swung our gazes to her. She looked a little embarrassed and now Mateo and Liam had matching grins. It was my turn to look stunned, my jaw basically hitting the ground. When they all turned and looked at me expectantly, I shook my head quickly.
“Absolutely not.”
It seems I’m the only member of the Mafia Wives Club that wasn’t pregnant and I was going to do everything possible to keep it that way. When I took a step back, I bumped into James, who looked a little green himself.
Gabi started crying first, babbling about being pregnant together. When Jo and Mariana joined her, I got to watch as all three men panicked and tried to pull them apart, only to get snapped at a second later.
Laughing, I leaned back against James. He rested his chin on top of my head, watching the chaos. Jaime sidled up to us, a deep frown on his face.
“Three. There’s three now. Is it fucking contagious or something?”
All three turned slowly to glare at him and he lifted his hands in surrender. I snickered, shaking my head before I tipped my head back to look at James.
“Aren’t you glad you moved in with me now?”
