“It was glorious. You work on two speeds, slow and fast. I’ll have to keep that in mind. We’ll put you in a robe.” He stepped up to me and reached for the hem of my dress. “Hands up.”

“I can change on my own.”

“Indulge me.”

I lifted my arms, and he pulled off the dress, leaving me in only my platform heels. I wrapped an arm around my chest and covered my lower region with my hand.

“You’re adorable, and I love your body. Let me enjoy it.” He removed my hands and gently tugged me toward the sink. “Stand with your legs apart.” Then he dampened one of the display towels, and I covered my face when he started wiping it between my legs. “I’m hungry.”

“For me?” I teased.

“Don’t tempt me. I’m trying to be good, and I don’t have enough time. But this weekend, we can spend hours in bed.”

My brows rose. All it took for Paul to get me off was to kiss me. Surely he’d get bored with how quickly I climax with him.

“What takes hours?”I whispered.

He laughed.

“Ibet you’re hungry. What did you have for dinner?” Paul asked me.

“Is it dinnertime?” I asked.

Paul shook his head, went to a wardrobe, and pulled out a black kimono wrap robe. I swooned as he slid the silk fabric up my arms and cinched the front. The design was sleek and comfortable, but not made for modesty. He had it placed here, just like the basket in the potential studio and the chair in the bathroom. His lover’s clothes. All were parts of his seduction.

He grinned as he scanned over me in the robe. “What would you like to eat? You can have anything.”

“Sushi?”

“I’ll call Nobu.”

“They deliver this far?”

“No, but one of my bodyguards can pick it up.”

Paul took out his phone and ordered a bunch of food to pick up, along with desserts and the chocolate cake I ate at The Grill. He doesn’t miss a thing.

“I’ll have Nichole, my personal assistant, come and stock your fridge with more food. You can type your list—”

“Paul, I haven’t said yes.”

“Then I’ll have to try harder.” He gave me a wicked grin and walked me to the kitchen. There, he took out glasses and flatware. I explored the drawers that seemed to have everything: silverware, bowls, glassware.

“What must it be like to have it all?” I asked.

He shrugged. “There’s always more.”

I sat down on one of the island chairs while he poured me a glass of juice. “I could settle for a little and be happy. I dream of being married on a farm in a small rural home with a couple of dogs.”

He smirked. “You’re joking again. What’s your real dream?”

I tilted my head.

How did he know?I had dreamed for years of studying in New York City. It felt like it was in my blood. But up until now, with the negativity from the school lecturers and people like Sophie, I’d felt so battered. Yet, somehow, Paul knew I’d had more lofty goals.

“I want a successful line and store, a show during fashion week, a retail clothing line, to marry and have a child.”

“You want children?” he asked with surprise in his voice.
