I just pray all the typos, grammatical errors etc were sorted before release. Never needed to gripe before with this author's books, but as you can see from my 5 star review it might possibly have had more stars if that were possible! I confess to falling big time for the quirky main characters, their complexities & flaws, their off the charts sexual chemistry. Okay always been a fan of rock stars but I was charmed by the way this rock god fell big time for his not so stunning girlfriend/manager but it clearly worked for him & it gives me hope. He was HOT, she wasn't but she was his siren he couldn't resist. Did I mention this was HOT?

An engaging story line that pulls you in and keeps your attention til the end. The banter between the characters is great and they feel like part of your family when you finish the book. Another great one from Jennifer!

Another great read from this author. I loved the characters in this one. I could really connect with them. I didn`t find any plot holes at all or even any spelling mistakes. I really connected with this story from start to finish. I was happy to read this book.

I will definitely be reading more books by this author in the future.

Carmen and Ramiro have a story to end all stories with a great group of "supporting actors/actresses" that will be forever in your mind after reading their story. I'd love to see some of these characters get their own story. Without giving away the story trust when i say the heat, laughter, love, family dynamics, etc will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Enjoy!!I know I did

THE GREATEST GIFT -CHAPTER 1

The day seemed to be without end. Having wild and passionate sex for three hours last night meant they were only able to sleep for a few hours before the alarm was rudely ringing. The morning show was the last for now, as well as his performance there. Then it was off to four radio stations for interviews. Ramiro would have a few hours’ rest after that before getting ready for another show. Being a musician was harder work that one could imagine, but everything he did was crucial for his comeback after his absence from the scene.

Press tours were his least favorite part about the job. They were tedious and monotonous, with the same questions, the same studio. The same headphones when in radio stations. He changed out of his suit after another morning show - he couldn’t remember what it was - into a worn black t-shirt, black bomber jacket, jeans, and sneakers for the upcoming radio interviews. His girlfriend and manager, Carmen too, was dressed casually in a thick purple sweater that brought out the blue of her eyes, jeans, and dark brown boots.

After two radio shows, Ramiro was struggling with yawning. Carmen got him coffee, double-shot espresso, so he could soldier through the last show before taking a break for the One Night Show much later tonight.

The limo pulled up at the radio station, with Ramiro feeling very alert and excited. Partly due to coffee, partly for the show. It was Hardtone with Drak Attack, the only decent radio show around that devoted two hours to rock music. Carmen cautioned Ramiro that he was likely to get attacked for his recent choices.

“Good afternoon and welcome to Hardtone with Drak Attack,” came the smooth, raspy voice of Drak Attinson. He was tall, handsome with black hair and navy blue eyes. “Today’s guest has recently undergone an interesting career shift, and we, the gods of rock, are here to question the God himself. Ramiro Brandt in the house!”

Recorded applause and cheers played through the waves. Ramiro’s stare was calm as Drak readied to interrogate him. He actually rubbed his palms together.

“Explain yourself!” He demanded with a boisterous laugh.

“Wild beasts don’t answer to orders,” Ramiro drawled. From behind the booth, Carmen crossed her arms tightly on her chest.

“We thought you lost your balls somewhere, Ramiro,” Drak said. “Alright. You have this new song out and, wait for it, it’s not rock! It’s pop! What the hell, man?”

Ramiro met Carmen’s stare. He was looking at her past Drak’s broad frame. “I sense a question somewhere there.”

“You’re doing a remake of a song so bad it’s actually good. Why?”

“As I’ve been saying, artists should constantly evolve. That means experimenting. You have to open yourself to new ideas, new ways of doing things. Else you and your talent get stagnant.”

“Do you mean to say Seismic is over?”

“If we are, you’d be the first to know.”

“What do they have to say about this betrayal?”

“I owe a lot of things to Seismic. Let’s make that clear. But we respect each other’s individuality and choices. Euan is in a reality show - “
