CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE
Her heart was still thundering in her ears when her knees began to buckle. She sagged and started sliding down the door when Clay wrapped his arm around her waist and swept her off her feet.
“What’s the matter sweetheart can’t handle it? That was only round one. I didn’t think you’d tap out on me already”
Clay chuckled as he set her down on the bed. if she hadn’t known he was teasing she would have slapped him, but his tone was playful so she decided to turn the tables on him.
“Well that was round one for me but what about you? It hardly seems fair that I get all the attention.”
“Oh, and what sort of attention do you think I should have?” Clay asked his tone still light his eyes glinting with humor.
“Take off your pants and I’ll show you.” Jade had to bite her lip to keep the moment serious but when he dropped his pants she forgot the urge to laugh.
She beckoned him closer and licked her lips. If this was the last time that he’d be in her mouth she intended to make sure they both enjoyed every moment. She leaned over the edge of the bed letting her hair brush against his thighs. It wasn’t the most comfortable position but it would allow her to take him deep into her throat.
She circled him with her fingers her touch light and teasing wanting to hear his breath catch in the back of his throat. Then she licked him keeping her touch soft she traced the veins along his shaft from root to tip.
“Quit playing and suck.”

“Now.” The word held so much need it was difficult to ignore. If she’d been tempted to try the hand that wrapped around her throat made denying him impossible.

When he was done she pulled back slowly giving him a final lick. It made him shudder and laugh before a hiss escaped from between his teeth as she let him pop free from between her lips.
The smile she gave him was a little sad. If she was going to die tomorrow she wanted to do that again but he’d need at least a little while to recover.
“Now the playing field is level since we’ve both had round one.” She knew her tone was smug but she couldn’t help it there was nothing better than the taste of him and the power exchange went straight to her head.
“The only problem with leveling the playing field sweetheart is now I need to find another way to make you scream my name for a little while.”
Jade squealed as he flipped her to her belly then sighed as he ran his fingers down her spine seeming to magically find every tense muscle.
She didn’t mean to sleep but the massage melted her anxiety letting her relax When she opened her eyes she was hungry and the light had changed in the room. Clay was propped up in bed next to her watching her.
The scrutiny would have embarrassed her if it weren’t for the expression on his face. There was a softness in his gaze and a barely banked desire as though they hadn’t gone at each other all afternoon.
The scent of sex still permeated the air and even without the sensitive sense of smell lycans had, it was unmistakable.
Jade shifted expecting her thighs to be sticky but Clay had cleaned her up after she’d fallen asleep.
“Hey, sleepyhead did I wear you out?”
“You shouldn’t have let me sleep.” She couldn’t fight the panicked feeling that invaded her while she wondered how much time she’d lost and her heart started to pound so loud that she knew he had to hear it. Her suspicion was confirmed when he shot her a look of concern.
“Hey what’s wrong?” His tone was soft as if he was trying not to spook her.
“I just don’t want to waste any time.” She couldn’t keep her voice from cracking on the last word and she knew that she was on the verge of tears.
She didn’t resist when Clay pulled her close instead she settled into him similar to the way that she had when they were out on the swing, except this time she laid her head on his chest so that she could listen to the beat of his heart. It helped to calm her and soon her breathing returned to normal.
Jade caught his eye and without a word swung her leg over his lap so that she was straddling him. It didn’t take much attention for him to become erect and once he was Jade slipped his length inside her.
When he tried to speak she put her finger against his lips silencing him. when she couldn’t take the intensity of his gaze any longer she shut her eyes and just slowly rocked her body on his creating a gentle friction that eventually brought them both to a climax though this one wasn’t as explosive as their earlier ones had been.
