“What!” was the loud, startled explanation.

Meryn sniffled. “Aiden, it’s so good I wanna cry,” she said before moaning.

“Pierce!”

Sighing and shaking his head, Pierce took the phone.

“No, sir, they’re just eating brownies. No, sir, just brownies.” There was silence. Then he began to laugh. “Yes, sir.” He tapped the phone ending the call.

He cleared his throat and looked to Peter. “Unit Commander Aiden McKenzie would like to place an order for ten dozen dark chocolate truffle brownies.”

Seconds later, Izzy’s phone went off. “H…hello?” Izzy answered. Her eyes were still closed. “Oh Oron, it’s so good. I want more in me,” she whimpered.

“Godsdammit! Pierce!”

Unable to hold back his laughter, Pierce plucked Izzy’s phone from her hand. “Yes, Your Highness? Yes, sir, I understand.” He once again ended the call and lay the phone next to Izzy’s hand.

“And Prince Oron would like to order six dozen dark chocolate truffle brownies,” he announced.

Peter dropped the tongs he had been holding. “What?”

Pierce smirked. “If you don’t have that much, maybe just send two dozen up to the palace every day for a while.”

Peter looked from him to where the women sat in the thralls of ecstasy. Turning to Gage. “Any for you?”

Wiping away tears of laughter, Gage turned to Zoe. “Well, Zo?”

She licked her fingers, satisfied. “I like the treat I got last night better.”

Gage’s heated gaze had her blushing.

Laughing, Peter started pulling out boxes for the insane orders he had just received.

Leaning in, Gage nipped her neck. “Last night was just as addicting.”

She turned and kissed his nose. “Agreed.”

“I kinda want coffee now,” Meryn complained.

Izzy pointed back toward the palace. “We can always head back early, and I can make you whatever you want.”

Meryn shook her head and eyed both Gage and Pierce. “You guys have credit cards, right?”

Gage nodded, and Pierce pulled out his wallet. “I have yours. Ryuu gave them to me when he knew I’d be watching over you today.”

“Let’s go,” Meryn said, heading down Main Street.

Gage’s eyes widened. “Go where?”

“To Madison.”

“Oh, hell no! Aiden will gut me if I take you there,” Gage objected.

“We’re just going for coffee. Besides, we have you and Pierce with us. No one would be stupid enough to try anything,” Meryn countered.

Zoe followed, sticking close to Meryn. She had never been to a human city and was dying to see what it was like.
