Not just because it was the first time without anything between us. Though, yes, there was that. A heightened sensation, a more innate closeness.

It was a first for me, something I never would have let happen before. But neither of us had been seeing anyone else. And I was on the Pill since I was a teenager. It was fine. Safe.

More than that, it was right.

God, nothing had ever felt quite so right.

Judging by the sort of surprised, heated look on Slash’s face, he felt the same.

“Please,” I whimpered, my hands sliding over his shoulders as my thighs pressed up to his sides. “Please move,” I tried again.

And that time, he seemed to break out of the spell of that moment, his hips sliding back, then surging inside of me.

Slow.

Deep.

Making me feel more aware of each inch of him than ever before.

We’d done this countless times. I’d felt him in so many different ways.

Yet this was somehow new.

Different.

More intimate.

My hands went to the sides of Slash’s face, pulling him back down to me, sealing my lips to his as he continued to move inside of me, driving us up so slowly it was almost painful, yet neither of us seemed inclined to change the pace.

It wasn’t until I felt my walls starting to tighten around him that Slash lifted his head, looking down at me with heavy-lidded, heated eyes as he drove me right to that edge, then sent me falling over.

The orgasm seemed to start at the base of my spine and work its way outward until it overtook me completely, making my back arch and my thighs shake and his name to cry out from between my lips.

“Fuck, you’re beautiful,” he hissed, his hips rocking into me through it before planting deep, his body tightening as he came, hissing out my name.

I can’t say how long we stayed like that afterward.

His body pressing mine deep into the mattress. My arms and legs wrapped tightly around him. His body still inside mine.

It was a while.

Yet it still felt too soon when he pulled away.

He snuck off into the bathroom first, coming back with a pair of pajama pants slung low on his hips.

“I’m gonna go grab a drink. You want one?” he asked as I watched him, my eyes still greedy for him even after all this time.

“Yes. And snacks,” I told him.

“What kinda snacks?” he asked. “Think we got the whole fucking snack food aisle in the pantry.”

“Salty. Oh, and sweet. Maybe some chocolate.”

“So, a little bit of everything,” he concluded, smile warm.

“What can I say? It’s been a month,” I told him, getting a nod from him.

I waited until the door closed to roll off the bed, waddling into the bathroom to clean myself up.
