“Pregnant,” she says again. This time the word slides out easier. “The pregnancy test was in the box. I thought we were being careful. I thought he’d be excited.” She swallows hard. “Kemp’s wife began ranting about how she has the means and pull to take the baby. I looked her up afterward, and she is some politician. That is why I was looking to get away when I did.”

“Why does she need your baby so bad? Why not adopt? Or—”

I shrug my shoulders. “She’s crazy. That night after she saw the test, she looked me up on Facebook under a different name, and started sending me messages, offering me money for the baby. I refused because this is my child, but she wasn’t having it. She started following me and threatening me. I told her I’d go to the police, but she laughed like it was nothing. Later, Kemp told me that her dad and brothers all work for the San Francisco police department.”

“So he wanted to help you out of this then?”

“God, no. He cornered me outside of the school with a knife. He gave me two options: have the baby on my own and willingly give it up to them or they will take it.” Her eyes widen again. “I believe they will take it. I mean, he’s here. He followed me here. I thought it was in my head at first. He couldn’t possibly be so crazy. I mean, what does he care that the wife he was cheating on has a baby or not? He obviously doesn’t love her.”

“It’s probably about his reputation,” I say, pulling her into my chest. “Most likely she threatened his career. I’m sure agot a studentpregnant story would get him removed from the college.”

“I know you don’t want me anymore. I know this whole thing is—”

“I still want you,” Colin says, peeking his head in from the darkness. I’d been so involved in Sara’s news I hadn’t heard them come back.

“Me too,” Brad says, reaching his hand out toward her for comfort.

She looks down at the bamboo boards, then back up again tears in her eyes. “I don’t deserve you guys, though. I don’t. I’m bro—”

“Don’t say it,” I say, holding my thumb beneath her chin. “You were strong enough to run, you were strong enough to confront him when you realized he was here, and you were strong enough to jump out of that plane knowing you had all this on your plate. You were doing what you had to for your child. We’re not going to let anything happen to you or that baby. I promise.” I pull her back against my chest and wrap her tight, brushing my hand down over the back of her head as her crying subsides.

Colin and Brad run their hands down over her legs in comfort as a few mosquitos buzz in the distance. Jane never mentioned going to elimination tonight after the breakdown with all of us threatening to quit, but now more than ever I want off this island.

“Let’s get dinner,” I say, running my hand over top of her stomach. “I have to keep you two healthy.”

Sara looks up at me, her eyes glazed over with something that looks like hope and my heart melts. Somehow, I’ve fallen in love with this girl, and I know without a shadow of a doubt there is absolutely no going back from it. Sara belongs to us and it’s about time I claimed her.

Chapter Fifteen

Sara

After we eat, we all crawl right into the enclosure for bed. I’m not sure what time it is, but I’d guess it was around nine o’clock the way the moon is set a few feet above the horizon. Having told the guys about the baby, my stomach is less tense for that reason, but more tense for others. It’s like a revolving door of anxiety I can’t get away from. Like now that they know, I know they’re going to do all kinds of crazy things to protect me. And I know Kemp isn’t going to take kindly to being pushed around, especially if Zane is right and his job is on the line. I hadn’t stopped to think how that was what’s happening. His wife wants the baby and she’ll go to the board if she doesn’t get it.

My heart thuds hard against my chest as Zane presses into me from behind. His arm is lobbed over my waist and his hand is set firmly on my abdomen. A few days ago, he seemed dead set against the idea of even talking to me, now it seems he’d do anything for me and this little peanut I’m growing.

“You okay, sweetheart?” Colin lays out in front of me, his hand on my cheek.

“You look stressed,” Brad says, his hand behind Colin’s head lost in my hair.

“Of course, she’s stressed,” Zane growls. “She’s out here with a baby growing inside of her. There’s too little food, no medical care, sleeping on wood planks, and there’s a psycho chasing her. It’s not ideal. We need off this island tomorrow morning.” I feel him lift his microphone and move it to his lips. “If you haven’t heard me yet, Jane, have the boat ready in the morning.” He laughs a little, but I know he’s serious, which only makes me feel worse.

“I can’t let you guys leave. This was your dream. You came out here to win a million dollars. It’s—”

“We’ve already won more than a million dollars,” Zane says, pressing me up against him tighter. “We’re not losing anything.” He kisses the back of my head and a warm wave of pleasure washes through me. “Now what do you say we relax our girl.”

My clit throbs hard as his warm breath hits the lobe of my ear. His voice is dark and growling, his hands big and persuasive as they move up and over my hips and toward the microphone. Unclasping the mic, he reaches his hand out for Colin and Brad’s, then tosses all four of them into the fire outside our little home.

“We don’t need these,” he says rolling me onto my back as he makes his way down toward my legs. There isn’t much room to move, so he steps outside, his feet in the sand as he bends into me, pulling the soft white panties from their place and onto the ground. This is only the second time I’ve been eaten out, and my anticipation is forcing a simmer of creamy anticipation into my groin. Zane kisses my feet, working his way up toward my thighs slowly. He lets the light scratch of his beard rub over top of me, tickling my skin with the slightest bit of pressure as a light rain begins to patter outside.

Colin strips off my bandana as both he and Brad gather on either side of me, their dicks now thick and throbbing close to my face. I reach out and grip Brad’s cock, pulsing it in my hand, as Colin licks my hard exposed nipple. He sucks up with a force that aches and sends a shock between my legs, jolting me forward into Zane’s waiting mouth.

I bite my lip at the wave of desire that’s pulsing through me, anxious to be filled, but desperate to make this last. Branches groan in the wind as Zane’s tongue licks over top of my clit, circling it with precision and longing. I try to sit still and enjoy each single sensation, but when he slides two thick fingers inside of me, I’m a writhing mess.

Reaching up for Colin’s thick pole, I slide him into my mouth, savoring the way he stretches my lips wide. Inch by inch he slides in deeper, the breath rushing out of him as I move. I don’t deserve this much affection, this much attention, this much care.

“Fuck, sweetheart,” Colin groans, placing his hand on the side of my head. My tongue swirls around the head of his dick as my free hand pumps the base. He thrusts into me deeper, his length nearly gagging me as Zane pulls up a suction so strong that I’m forced to arch upward again.

Brad kisses the side of my neck and runs his tongue down over my breasts, squeezing each sensitive nub with pressure until I let out a hiss over top of Colin whose rock-hard cock is still pulsing in and out of my mouth. I pull from him, and twist toward Brad, taking him inside of me as Zane continues to thrust his fingers.
