Zane centers his touch over my stomach, running his fingertips in circles. “Everything you were hoping for?”
Wild emotion washes over me, forcing unexpected tears.
“What’s wrong, honey? Are you hurt?” Brad asks.
I shake my head and wipe the tears away. “I’m just so lucky to have you guys. I’ve never had this many people to love, or who love me.”
Zane spins the twisted piece of metal around my finger. “We need to get into town and get you something nice. You deserve a proper ring.”
“I love this one,” I say, my hand roaming his furry chest as he runs his over my breasts. “It’s simple, and heartfelt, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
“We love you, princess,” Zane says, kissing my hand. “And we love this little one. We’ll always be here to protect you, no matter what.”
I close my eyes and take in the moment, letting every emotion carve its way into my heart. I’m not sure if there’s an explanation for my feelings, or if loving three men at once is even right, but I can’t escape reality. I am not sure I want to, because as far as I’m concerned, reality is pretty damn good.
