I bite the inside of my cheek, and watch as the giant man I’ve been longing for, climbs from his truck and steps toward me.

I don’t see Dex right away, but when I do, my heart squeezes again. I’ve missed them. I’ve missed being their captor. I’ve missed the excitement of their arms and the comfort of their dominance.

Liam leans inside the truck and grabs something, before closing the door. When I see my grandfather’s old ammo box, my heart sinks, twists, and aches all at once.

I should be angry with him. He’s invaded my privacy, gone to my family home, and dug up the only things that I have on this earth. He’s betrayed my trust… but every emotion I have is superseded by the look in Liam’s eyes.

He’s set on me like he’s the hawk, and I’m the mouse. In one fell swoop, he has me in his grasp, against his frame, on his lips, lost in the world of his dominance again. His kiss is hard and unmetered as our lips crush together. My breasts press against his body as his palm wraps to the back of my neck. A growl crawls up his throat and rumbles through my chest.

When he pulls away, I’m breathing hard, and everyone stands in silence. Liam’s gaze never leaves mine.

“I brought this because I wanted you to open it in front of me. I thought I wanted to see you hurt the way you’d hurt me, but that was all fucking lies.” He leans into my ear, his hot breath on my neck as he whispers roughly, “When I said you were more important than those jewels, I meant it. I need your body, Beth. I need you bent over with that dripping wet cunt swollen and ready. Do you want that?”

My heart pounds heavy against my chest. “I could tell you what I know about the gems. They’re—”

“I asked you a question. Do you want my cock inside of you, Beth? Do you want me to make you feel like you’ve never felt before?”

I swallow hard and look up at Liam, his dark eyes glazed over as he stares at me.

Without looking away, I say, “Jack… can we have the keys to one of your cabins? One by the river?”

I don’t see the look on Jack’s face, but judging by the tone of disapproval in his voice, it looks like obstinance. “You’re kidding, right? You trust this fucker?”

“I do,” I whisper with my gaze still on Liam, my hands in his hair, my heart caught somewhere between life and make believe.

Bryan and Dex talk to Jack, but I don’t hear any of it. I’m lost in Liam’s arms, lost in his husky whisper, lost in all the dirty, filthy things I know are about to happen.

Chapter Sixteen

Beth

The small log cabin sits thirty feet or so from the edge of a riverbed, where wildflowers grow against the stream. It’s nowhere near as nice as the place I’d been held captive a few days before. This is much more rustic. The kitchen is a single slab of reclaimed wood with a stainless-steel sink and a small single door fridge. The bathroom is similar and minimal, with no singing toilet or sheer waterfall for handwashing. Instead, dust enshrouds the surface of everything, and the wood plank floors creak with each step.

Liam steps outside and gathers a pile of wood from the stack on the front porch.

I think Jack gave us a shit cabin on purpose. I’m sure he thinks I’m batshit crazy for showing up here with three men, and for letting the man who I ran from kiss me like he did. Truthfully, if I was watching this happen, I may think I was crazy too.

There’s a small couch that’s covered with a painter’s sheet. I don’t dare move it. The dust piled on top would fill the small space without a doubt. Instead, I peek in the bedroom to see what kind of situation we’re working with. Dex follows in behind me.

“Not too bad.” He sounds happy, but he always sounds happy. I don’t know what that man is on, but I want some. “We’ll be good here for the night.” He wraps me in his arms and holds me close. “We’ll keep you warm.”

The floorboards bend and creak behind us as Liam’s giant frame threatens their existence with a pile of wood in his arms. What is it about a great, big man, doing manly things that turns me on so much?

There isn’t much I wouldn’t be turned on by at this point, though. My clit has been splitting in two since Bryan and I were together last night, and it’s only more engorged after that kiss with Liam. Still, though, the ammo box sits on the side table taunting me.

“I should open the box.” I stare up at Dex, hoping he’ll have the answer I’m looking for.

“Don’t. Whatever is in there, is the past. Liam acknowledged that, I acknowledge it, and Bryan looks like he’s on board too.” Dex flashes a stare toward Bryan who’s helping Liam carrying firewood.

“I think if he knows I—”

His lips melt into mine, muffling out the words before they come into the air. At first, it’s soft and pliant, then without question, it becomes more aggressive as he wraps his arm around my waist and tugs me in closer. I’m soaked. I need him. I need all of them.

Dex’s hand swipes over the hem of the oversized t-shirt I’m wearing, then shifts me around until he’s pressed me against the wall, with his hard cock pushed against my belly like a sword.

I’m not sure how foursomes start, but this is a natural move that forces the attention of others.

The strike of a match echoes in the small space, then the flame of the wood. “You’re getting started without us.” Bryan’s hand wavers through my hair, and his fingertips brush against my shoulders as Dex sucks on the muscles in my neck until they’re tender.
