He laughed. "We'll see about that. So, we skipped a few steps when we first met."
"I remember," I said, flushing a little at the heat flowing between us now.
"How about we start over, and I take you out on a date?"
A wave of happy joy ran through me. "Yes. Absolutely. Can we start now? Because it's going to be midnight soon, and I really want to kiss you again."
He put his hands on my waist and looked deep into my eyes. "I don't see any reason why we have to wait until midnight."
"I do like your no-rules lifestyle," I said, as I leaned in for the kiss I'd been wanting ever since the last one.
