As she finished talking, the other women, her best friends in the world, crowded in behind her, and she could see all their beautiful, smiling faces in the large mirror. Keira had come back from Miami, and she stood next to Hannah and Gianna, who she had known since she was five. Lizzie, Chelsea, and Molly were in the back. Their significant others were with Decker, and the kids were with various grandparents, waiting in the chapel. Both her parents and Kevin's parents were also in the church.

She'd thought it might be awkward for Kevin's parents to come, but they had wanted to be there for her. At first, they'd been a little hesitant around Decker, but he'd charmed them the way he'd charmed everyone else. And they'd offered to stay in her house with Leo while Decker took her on what would be an amazing trip to Africa. He wanted to show her one of his favorite places in the world, and she was more than ready to see the world with him because they'd always come home to Whisper Lake.

"Are you ready?" Gianna asked. "I know what this moment feels like."

She laughed at the dry smile on Gianna's face. Her friend had had three almost trips down the aisle before marrying Zach. "Don't worry, I'm not going to run away. If anything, I'm going to sprint down the aisle."

"You should," Keira said. "Decker is amazing. I know I wasn't here for the beginning of this relationship, but I like what I see."

"Me, too," she said, turning around. "The last several years, you have all been there for me in so many ways." Emotion choked her throat at all the memories.

"Don't make us cry yet," Gianna complained, as she dabbed at her eyes.

"I just want you to know how much you all mean to me. I couldn't have survived without your support. Leo and I needed each and every one of you."

"We all need each other," Hannah said. "And we'll always be there whenever there's sadness or joy or boredom. That's the way we roll."

She laughed. "It is. We're all really lucky."

"Let's get you married," Keira said.

She took one last look in the mirror and then moved into the chapel. It was a short aisle, and the small church was filled with close friends and family. Her bridesmaids and Decker's groomsmen lined up on either side of the church, and then she walked down the aisle to the love of her life.

Decker's gaze clung to hers with every step she took. And when she reached the front, he grabbed both of her hands and squeezed them tight.

"I love you," he whispered.

"I love you, too."

Marian cleared her throat.

Chloe smiled at her manager, who was also their officiant. "Sorry, we couldn't wait," she said.

"Then we better get started," Marian returned with a smile.

As Marian talked about their relationship, how they'd first met, Chloe gazed into Decker's eyes, thinking about how he hadn't checked any of her boxes. But Mr. Wrong had definitely turned into Mr. Right. She'd been looking for the wrong things.

When Marian finished, they each said their vows, which were honest, simple, and funny. Because that's the way their relationship was.

After they exchanged rings, Decker gave her a tender kiss and whispered, "I love that all these people are here. But I can't wait to get you alone in a tent in Africa. Our adventure will truly begin."

"Our adventure has already begun," she said, smiling into his eyes. "And I not only get to go on that adventure with my lover but also my best friend."

"I'll never stop being either," Decker promised.

They kissed again and then broke apart as Leo ran down the aisle to join them. Decker swung her little boy up in his arms as they walked out of the church as a family.
