Levi turned to Lyra, raising an eyebrow. He had wanted to tell Adam the right way, but he wasn’t sure what the right way was. Lyra was done waiting, and knew that her son had the right to know who his father was. She drove an elbow silently into Levi’s chest, and he grunted, and smiled at Adam.

“Yeah, buddy, uh…there’s no easy way to say this. In fact, I thought maybe we should leave this for another time.”

“But there’s no time like the present,” Lyra finished for him, smiling.

“Yeah, none.” Levi let out a breath.

“If you’re about to tell me that Levi’s my dad, I know that already,” Adam began, turning back to sweeping.

Lyra and Levi exchanged glances, before turning to him. “Wait, how did you…”

“Super hearing,” Adam replied, sweeping the floor.

Levi and Lyra excused themselves and went down into the basement which had been padded to be soundproof. Lyra pulled his shirt over his head and Levi undid her bra with a single tug. He pushed her against the single bed down there, and peppered her body with kisses before undoing his own belt.

Lyra felt Levi pin her to the bed, his hands wrapping around her wrists as he slid into her from behind, slowly at first, but picking up speed as she moaned, encouraging him, urging the dragon to go faster and faster. His warm hands grabbed at her breasts, toying with her nipples as he fucked her.

Lyra turned around to face him, wrapping her legs around him and pulling him deeper as her eyes rolled around in the back of her head, her body brought to the brink of an orgasm. Levi worked quickly, kissing and sucking her breasts while his hips bucked back and forth, pummeling her.

Lyra felt him grow hotter and harder inside her, and the sensation drove her to the edge. She grabbed onto him as her body was hit with an earth-splitting orgasm, waves of pleasure shooting through her body. Levi finished, both of them lying in each other’s arms silently as they stared up at the wooden boards.

“Wait, we haven’t closed up the hole in the living room, have we?” Levi asked.

Lyra burst out laughing, holding on tighter to him. Things were changing, and Lyra had no idea what would come next. But she had her pack, she had her father, she had Adam, and she had Levi. Everything was going to be fine, no matter what.

Levi

Levi, Victor, and Adebayo got out of the car and walked up to the front door of the bakery. It was the first time they were opening since the demons had all been killed. Adam had confirmed what they already knew. He wasn’t having his episodes anymore, which meant that the demons were all gone, since he could no longer sense them.

He had also started calling Levi “Dad”, which brought a smile to the dragon’s lips each time he heard the little boy say it.

As they shut the doors of the vehicle, a figure dropped off the roof of the store, landing with his back to them. Levi and Adebayo quickly summoned their claws, ready to attack whoever it was. Levi instantly noticed it was a dragon, and the scent of the person hit Levi so hard he burst out laughing.

“Axle!”

The dragon turned around with a smile on his face, a small scar running across his eyebrow. “Is that any way to welcome your brother, Levi?”

The men hugged, and Levi pulled away for a moment, looking at the scar on his face. “You have a scar, what is that? We don’t have scars, what did that to you?”

Axle frowned, “Levi, you’re not going to believe what happened, but there’s something out here, something more dangerous than anything we’ve seen, and…well, someone is going to have to do something about it, because it takes away our healing, and it can kill a dragon with one well-placed blow.

When Garret fell off the side of the cliff, he slammed into several branches and rocks before he hit the floor. The impact broke almost every single bone in his body and Garret knew that after exerting himself like that, using up all of his energy, if his body didn’t have enough to heal itself, he was going to die.

He was completely drained, and all he could do was wait to bleed out slowly while he succumbed to the darkness that began to fill his vision. Garret wished he had more time, he wished he was stronger. He would have taken down Levi and he knew it. But he was simply not enough, and he had lost to the man.

The sun began to set, and Garret realized the darkness he had been seeing was a figure standing just a few feet from him. He tried to move his neck to see, but felt as though his neck was broken as well, leaving him unable to move.

The creature had no legs Garret could see, only a smoky cloak that seemed to hover inches above the ground. It breezed over, standing beside him, almost looking at him in pity. It spoke in an eerie voice, sounding like something that came from out of this world.

“You wish to slay Levi, the leader of the dragons of Ridgeshire,” the voice began, and Garret nodded with as much gusto as he could muster, despite the pain and the unmovable neck. It felt as though he wasn’t even moving. The figure bent low, so Garret could look into the face of the figure. As he locked eyes with the being, Garret was drawn into an infinite darkness. “I will give you everything that you want, Garret, but in exchange, I’m going to need your help as well.”
