The staff were all so sweet and kind. They made us dinner, and then Alexander and I snuck off to bed. We wanted to break in the new bed he got for us. It was a “move-in” tradition. I ranup the stairs, giggling like a high school girl, and he chased after me. “I’ll beat you there!”
“You wish!”
Once we hit the bedroom, it was all over. Clothes started to fly off, and our lips began to touch. I started moaning, and he grunted lightly. Alexander making love to me was one thing that I would cherish for the rest of my days.
After a long night, I woke up hungry and walked downstairs to make breakfast. I forgot he had a maid that cooked the meals, and it was already prepared. The table was covered with a variety of freshly cooked breakfast foods.
“Well, I don’t want this to go to waste. Let me go get Alexander up.”
“Usually he is up and gone by now,” she replied.
He wasn’t going to work today. We were staying home and unpacking all my belongings together.
After waking him up and eating breakfast, it only took us about five hours to get all my belongings put away and situated. Alexander mentioned to me that he wanted to have dinner with his parents tonight. After what his mother said to me last time, I just didn’t want to be anywhere near her. Alexander thought his mom liked me. Little did he know, she had tried to pay me off.
“Okay, babe. I mean I can’t say no if you already told them we were coming.”
“It will be fine. They love you.”
Yeah, that was what he thought. I wished he knew the truth. I just couldn’t bear to tell him about his mom. It was better to just keep my mouth shut. She was obviously pretty good at faking that she liked me. I wasn’t sure about his dad. I never had anactual conversation with the man. We both threw on some jeans and hopped in the car.
When we pulled up to his parents’ house, I started to get a slight headache. I brushed it off and didn’t tell Alexander. How bad could tonight be?
“Hey, Ella, come on in.”
We all sat down in the living room and mostly talked about Alexander and his work. It was always the topic of conversation. His parents were proud of him. I didn’t mind him being the center of attention. I didn’t want to be. Not long after getting there, his mom asked me, “How are you liking Baltimore?”
“I like it. I’m closer to Alexander which is great. I can’t wait to get out and see it.”
She faked a smile at me.Yeah, I got it. You don’t like me. It’s mutual, and I’m not going anywhere. Go ahead and do your worst.
“Would you men like some beers?” she asked.
“Of course,” they replied.
“Ella, would you help me grab their drinks?”
Of course, I knew what was coming. She didn’t need help. She just didn’t want to talk to me in front of them. She thought she was so sly, but at some point, she would get caught. It was only a matter of time. It was not going to work on me this time. I knew her game. Leaving Alexander was not worth any amount of money she could offer.
“I’m so happy that you have moved in with Alexander. He has been so excited about it. You are all he talks about anymore.”
“Aw, that’s so sweet. I’m happy to hear that.”
“The only problem I have with this situation is that I don’t think you are going to stay around. I don’t need my son hurt. You are the first woman that he has brought to my house. This means that he truly does love you like he says he does. I need to know if you feel the same.”
“I love your son with every inch of my being. I couldn’t imagine being apart from him. He makes me a better person.”
She looked at me as if she was trying to figure out if I was lying to her. Well, little did she know, I was not. She was such a bitch! Of course, I couldn’t say that out loud. I had to put up with her for Alexander. I grabbed Alexander and his dad a beer and headed back into the living room.
“Here you go.”
I sat down next to Alexander and gave him a peck on the cheek.
“Ella, have you decided what you are going to do now that you are in Baltimore?”
“Well, Dad, I am actually planning on talking to her tonight about taking a position in one of my companies for the time being,” Alexander said.
“Wait, what? Me? Work for you?” I asked.
