“Sure, but I promised Grayson I’d only dance with you.”

She winks. “We’ll see how long that lasts.” She waves her hand at my drink. “Hurry and finish.”

I suck the remaining liquid down and before setting the glass on the table, she’s already taken my hand, tugging me onto the dance floor. “You already see someone you’re interested in, don’t you?”

“Mm, hmm.”

“Once he joins us, I’m getting off the dance floor.”

“All right,” Megan replies, sounding disappointed.

Thankfully the alcohol has given me a confidence boost. With it, I’m a graceful swan; without it, I probably look like a flapping fish out of water. Megan, on the other hand, is an amazing dancer. She loves to dance every chance she gets. When she settles down it needs to be with someone who loves to dance as much as she does. I can go either way. I enjoy it, but every time I’ve come out dancing with Megan it was to have a good time with her and to meet guys. Well now I’ve met one and he’s all I can think about as my best friend eye fucks the man she’s interested in getting to know.

Like a wolf stalking its prey, the redheaded fella comes right toward Megan. Shit, I’ve lost my dance partner already. My shoulders drop and I head back to our table. I order another drink then pull out my cell phone. My mood brightens when I see a text waiting for me from Grayson.

How’s your night going, Princess?

It’s ok. I miss you.

How much?

Like debating leaving now and coming to your place miss you.

What if I’m not there?

My stomach instantly aches as if a chain is being tightened around it.

You’re not home?

No, Princess. I’m not.

Where are you?

Somewhere where I have a good view of you.

You’re here at Sin?

Just arrived. Want to find me?

YES!! :)

Start looking. I’m waiting here for you.

My head jerks around in search of Grayson. It isn’t easy to locate anyone with the lights so dim and the mess of people moving around. Wait! He said he has a good view of me. I glance up. The stairs to the loft. I start walking and my phone vibrates in my hand.

Getting warmer, Princess.

I reach the steps and anticipation replaces my worry. A grin spreads across my face as I take the steps as quickly as my heels will allow. As soon as I’m on flat ground, I search the tables and booths. My phone vibrates again.

So close, yet so far.

Moving farther in, I search the booths along the wall. The very last one is where I find him. He’s leaning against the wall, a scotch in his hand and dressed impeccably with looks that can kill. He looks like a freaking James Bond character come to life. The corner of his mouth lifts into a lascivious grin. “Now that you found me, what are you going to do with me?”

I crawl into the booth and straddle him. My internal naughty girl is all kinds of turned on by this game. I kiss him and he squeezes my ass, pressing me into him.

“I think you should take me home, right now.”

Grayson bites his lip and releases it. That tiny action lights my arousal on fire. Stroking my face, the smoldering look in his eyes tells me he’s just as turned on.
