She moved her legs apart, grateful she’d kept up a grooming routine. Positive thinking had saved her from having a bush only a Sasquatch could love. She was bare and sensitive.

“You’re very comfortable with your nudity.” He walked behind her and his fingertips brushed her hair to one side. “Do you enjoy being naked, Tiffany?”

“I might have spent some time living in a nudist colony,” she admitted. “It was a nice place on a mountain.”

“Why does that not surprise me?” His fingers whispered across her shoulder blades. “Did you live there with a boyfriend?”

She fought hard not to lean back against his touch. He was teasing her and it was going to make her crazy, but she was determined to prove to him that she could play his games. “No boyfriend that time. Just a crazy friend from high school who thought it would be fun to travel across the country in her Mustang. We got to this crazy town, she met a guy who’d been visiting from Seattle, and suddenly I had no friend, no car, and about twenty-nine dollars in my pocket.”

His hand wound into her hair and she found herself looking up into seriously blue eyes. “Tell me you called your father.”

Oh, he thought she was far smarter than she was. “I couldn’t. It was my declaration of independence. I found a job at the nudist colony, which was really more of a resort. I worked the laundry at first. You would think there wouldn’t be much of a call for it, but those people go through towels like crazy. After a while, I kind of joined them. There wasn’t anything sexual about it. Not really. There was nothing more than a very lovely freedom to be me. I found myself there.”

“You could have been killed,” he said on a low growl. “You should have called your father.”

“But then I wouldn’t have had the experience. Sebastian, if we never throw ourselves in the water, we don’t learn to swim.”

“And you never have to worry about drowning. Tell me you understand how dangerous it was to be an eighteen-year-old girl out in the world on her own without anyone to watch out for her.”

“But I found several people who did help me. I also figured out how strong I was, that I could do anything I wanted to.”

He shook his head. “You need a keeper.”

“I kind of thought I had one.” At least that was what the contract stated.

“You do now and you should understand I won’t tolerate you placing yourself in danger. I worry that we’ll have two very different definitions of danger, but I’m too far along to stop. I don’t know that I like this feeling. I prefer to be in control and I’m not right now.”

She needed him to understand she was willing to bend. “You are. Sebastian, I’m not eighteen anymore. I don’t need some crazy adventure to find myself. I need this. I need you. I need what only you can give me.”

He tilted her head back, fingers twisting lightly in her hair. Not enough to hurt, but enough to light up her scalp, to make her shiver. “I think you could be very good at manipulating me.”

“I’m not trying to do that.” His mouth was so close. All she would have to do was go up on her toes and she could feel those lips against hers. She remained perfectly still because that would prove to him that she couldn’t follow orders here where he needed it the most. “I’m trying to be honest with you.”

“I’m not going to change, Tiffany. What you see is what you get.”

But he’d already started to change. He’d bent for her in ways that surprised her. He could be so rigid, but he’d made allowances and she expected after they started sleeping together they would both find themselves bending. They would figure out who they were as a couple. It was natural. “I don’t need you to change.”

Not fundamentally. She loved the core of strength deep inside him.

“I hope you mean what you say. Remember that I warned you.” His mouth came down on hers, warmth spreading to every part of her body. He didn’t rush the kiss, didn’t slam his mouth to hers and take off running. No. He was deliberate, thoughtful in the way he kissed. He brought their lips together, brushing across her mouth before deepening the kiss. Over and over he kissed her, drugging her before his tongue ran over her bottom lip.

She was already hot and wet and ready and he’d barely touched her.

Her breasts brushed against the fabric of his dress shirt as he finally dominated her mouth, his tongue moving inside to tangle with hers. She wanted her arms around him, but she was fairly certain he wasn’t ready for that yet. This would be D/s sex in the beginning, something she’d waited for. Now she was so happy she’d waited for the right man. She’d held off all other Doms because somehow deep down she’d known Sebastian was the right Dom for her.

His hand came out of her hair, running down her neck and over her chest. “Tell me how much you’ve learned. You’ve taken the training class and you’ve played around a bit, but I’ve never watched you scene so I’m not sure what you like.”

She liked him. She loved the way his big palm covered her breast. She wasn’t a tiny girl by any means, but she felt petite against him. “I took the training class because I was curious. Deena wanted to take it and she didn’t want to go alone. I knew when I read the materials Big Tag requires subs to read that I would enjoy playing around the edges of D/s.”

He rolled her nipple between his thumb and forefinger, tweaking her on the right side of pain. “I don’t play around the edges. I swim in the deep water, darlin’. You need to think about this.”

He really should let her finish. “The longer I go, the harder I want it. I started out enjoying an erotic spanking. I’m afraid I’m the freak who gets seriously turned on by the disciplinary ones. I’m willing to try almost everything. I can handle anything with the exception of what we’ve talked about before. Withdrawing affection makes me feel small. I don’t like it.”

His breath heated her neck and she could feel his lips there. “I’m feeling very affectionate. But you’ll have to be patient with me. I haven’t dealt with a woman like you in a long time. I’ve offered my services to people who required discipline, not affection. I might be bad at it.”

It didn’t feel like it. And as long as he was willing to learn, they could work together. He felt perfectly affectionate at night. He seemed to enjoy making physical contact with her. She was almost certain that Sebastian had forgotten how nice it was to cuddle, to hug, to be truly close to another human being. For some reason, he didn’t remember what it meant to be connected to a woman. She was going to make damn sure that woman was her and only her. “I can be patient, Sir. Master. I want to call you Master. I think it would be better for our cover.”

He ran his tongue over the sensitive flesh of her neck right before sinking his teeth in. Gently. It was just enough to make her squirm. “I think you know exactly how to make me want you. I think you’re excellent at manipulating me.”
