“Damn it. I can’t think with you naked in bed,” Jonas gritted. I smiled against his chest, pressing myself closer to him. He sighed long and slowly released me.

“I promise, I won’t be long,” Jonas whispered.

I nodded, lifted my towel and went into the bedroom. After a while, I sighed and changed into my tank and shorts before turning off the light.A danger, indeed.Climbing under the duvet, I curled on my side and eventually fell asleep.

CHAPTER TEN

Iwoke tothe feel of soft kisses on my face. My eyes popped open and my heart stopped when I realized it was a strikingly handsome, tousled Jonas over me. He flashed a grin as he pressed his body down on me. I could feel his cock through his briefs.

“I don’t remember you wearing more than a towel when I left you last night.” His eyes darkened as they stared down at my tank top, making my nipples harden. I should have been embarrassed, but my body had taken over as heat coursed through me. I moved under him, against his cock, and moaned. Our eyes met and we gazed at each other, his breathing just as hard as mine.

He ended it by kissing me hard on the lips. “If I didn’t have to work, I would spend the day on that sexy body of yours.” He climbed off me. “But I can’t. So you save that orgasm for me.”

I grumbled, “Fine.”

His lips twitched. “Don’t be grumpy. I’ll make it up later.” He then went about getting dressed, leaving me breathless.

I went to the closet and collected my clean clothes and workbag, then went into the bathroom. I took a quick shower, adding some light makeup and brushing my long black, thick hair into an oversized bun. As I gazed in the mirror, I tried to wipe the grin off my face. I was never good at hiding anything that I was thinking or doing. My parents always knew what I was up to, so I was known to confess pretty quickly. Mary and Gregor too.Well, most things. He always noticed every haircut or unflattering piece of clothing I came to work in, making it his business to provide a running commentary. Luckily, Gregor was out of town.

My eyes widened and I reached for my purse.Gregor!I remembered I had sent him a text. I picked up my phone and looked down at my new message from him, then burst into a fit of laughter. It was a cat dressed as Lady Gaga dancing to herEdge of Glorysong.Well, I guess he’s pleased with my message about Jonas.I walked out the door and put my things away, then sought out Jonas. I found him seated at the table with an assortment of pastries, fresh fruit, and coffee before him.

I walked over to where he stood. My breathing became labored as I allowed my eyes to roam over him on approach. His black hair was styled back, showing off his gorgeous, freshly shaven sculptured face.

He grinned at me, “You look lovely.” He leaned over and kissed the side of my face. My nostrils filled with the incredible aroma of his light aftershave. “I have no idea how Gregor gets work done around you.”

I covered my grin.Jonas gives good ego. My mind wandered back to the previous night, and I turned my head to hide my face. When I finally turned back, there was a knowing smile on Jonas’s face.

“Damn it. You keep doing that, I’m going to fuck you on this table,” he said.

My breath hitched as I glanced up at him. The look he gave was predatory. I had little doubt he wouldn’t do exactly as he said. “I don’t know what I should do.”

He chuckled. “I know, and I like that,” he said softly. He reached out and stilled my hand. “Have breakfast.”

I took half a muffin and a few strawberries, placing them on my plate.

Jonas frowning at my plate. “Not enough. Eat the whole muffin and another fruit,” he said.

My eyes focused on my plate. “I’m not big on breakfast.”

He clicked his tongue. “That’s what you said about dinner. Please don’t tell me you are starving yourself,” he said with added distaste.

I jutted my chin. “No. I just didn’t want to load up on carbs. I hate feeling bloated all morning.”

He rolled his eyes. “I saw no bloating last night.”

I rolled my eyes back at him, then added a banana and the rest of the muffin. I stole a glimpse of him and my stomach fluttered at the wide grin spreading across his face.

I licked my lips. “I’m not doing it because of you.”

He smirked, “Yes you are.”

I grinned and took a bite of my muffin. “How do you know Gregor?”

Jonas paused for a moment, then said, “I knew him briefly years back.” He took a sip of his coffee, and from his demeanor and the following silence, I knew that was all he was willing to share.

I quickly ate the rest of my breakfast, ignoring the groan sent my way by Jonas. We rose and collected our things, heading down to the lobby together. We passed the concierge desk and moved out to the black Bentley at the door. I climbed inside and moved over to allow Jonas to sit down beside me. His driver closed the door and the car left the queue before the hotel and joined the mid-town morning traffic.
