The front of my body was pressed against his erection, which was growing heavy against me. I moaned and withered against him as my body was awakened to his touch, wanting more.

I rubbed my legs together. “This isn’t making me relax.” I looked around. “It’s not private either. Is there somewhere else we can go?”

His eyelids hooded. “I prefer here.” He pressed his body in again.

I puffed out. “Someone could come back here.”

Jonas didn’t answer, just moved his hand to the back of my thigh, lifting my skirt as he eased the fabric upward. Goose bumps broke across my naked flesh, and I panted as his hand stroked the skin on my buttocks. He moved his hand up and pressed my head against his chest while the other worked around the front to grip my mound.

“Mmm… you don’t feel like you want to wait,” Jonas said darkly. His fingers stroked, pushing inside me.

I inhaled sharply and his scent intoxicated me. Jonas had me. The knowledge that he could place me in a compromising position so near a room still occupied by people should have infuriated me. But I couldn’t think as my body gave into the pleasure he was giving me.

I whimpered in frustration as I parted my thighs and moved against his hand, allowing him to rob me of my sanity. “Please,” I spluttered.

“Yes,” Jonas said, in triumph as his fingers stroked true against my slick sex. He had my surrender. His pace increased, making me moan and move against him. I could feel the pressure building.

“Come,” he growled, he pinched my clit and I came withering under his grasp as he held me. Closing my eyes I leaned my head into his chest.

His demeanor was calm, but his heart pounded just as hard as mine. When I stilled, he inhaled against my hair and slowly released me.

I glanced at him through my lashes as I pulled my skirt down. I felt like I had been working out for hours, and was ready to crash. “We could have gotten caught. Your reputation would have been ruined,” I griped.

Jonas shrugged as he wiped his hands on his handkerchief. “Security is around. No one would have been allowed to follow me.”

I gasped, “So you planned this?”

He kissed me. “I plan everything.”

I looked away.He planned. Was I that predictable, or did all the women from his past so easily give in to his wishes? I had little doubt of that. But he was just as turned on as I was, and I realized I was being selfish too. “What about you?”

He smiled warmly at me. “You can ask me again when we get back.” He kissed me lightly on the lips and led me to a restroom, where we both had a chance to right ourselves.

When we came out, he pressed his hand on my back and led us toward the entrance of the Koi restaurant in the hotel. Standing by the door was a good-looking blonde male in similar business attire as Jonas. His eyes were a deep blue, his gaze pointed as he approached us.

“Lily, this is Ian Unger,” Jonas explained, a curve on his lips. “My lawyer and friend,” he added lightly.

Ian took my hand and grasped it firmly. His eyes flicked over me from head to toe as his full lips spread into a wide grin. “Very nice to meet you, Lily.”

Jonas tucked me against his side and moved us through the door that Ian held open. I couldn’t help but cover my grin at his impulse to stake a claim on me. Did he not see all the people at the conference, and now the restaurant, craning their necks for a glimpse of him? I had more of a reason to try to mark him, even though I knew I couldn’t. Still, I marveled at this beautiful powerful man and his possessiveness of me.

We grouped through the doors and up to the dining area. Jonas barely made it inside before people came up to speak with him. He somehow had the skill to move through them, while keeping me tucked to his side.

The glitzy décor was modern Asian, dark bamboo with a gorgeous lattice honeycomb art piece. Koi was one of the chic eateries, which would have normally put me on edge. But the softly lit ambiance, along with the after work crowd, gave off a relaxing vibe that I held onto as we moved towards the hostess podium for a table. We didn’t have to wait, as on approach the hostess walked around her podium and led us down toward a private booth, away from the rows of leather plush tables. Jonas helped me into my seat in the far corner of our booth and sat down next to me, whilst Ian positioned himself across from us.

“Ian is the reason I have been in Texas so long,” Jonas said. “He has been taking his time on the acquisition of Klein Technologies.”

Ian chuckled. “Oh no, you can’t blame that on me. I’m taking my Tribeca home back in a few weeks. You’re the one still holding up there.”

“Because it’s not solid,” Jonas said dryly. “And you should be there.”

Ian smirked at Jonas. “Let’s not bore Lily with business.”

I glanced at Jonas. “I don’t mind. Thanks.”

He turned and grinned at me. “Lily is too sweet and polite to say otherwise. But I agree. Let’s not talk about work.” He winked at me.

A waitress came over and took our drink orders, announcing the dinner specials.
