“My clothes were not weird!”

Seb laughed. “The clothes were worse than the braces.”

“Okay, whatever. Sorry we all weren’t born perfect.”

“Aw, you think I’m perfect, April?” Seb asked.

“Your looks are perfect. But you’re not.”

“I’m deeply hurt now.”

“Poor baby.”

“You should kiss me now. Make me feel better.”

As much as I didn’t want to comply with anything Seb had to say, his lips were just too damn kissable. And if we were just fooling around right now, I needed to take advantage of it.

His lips tasted like coffee.

The smell of the ocean tickled my nose.

The breeze blew my hair into my face and his.

It was perfect.

That amazingmorning-aftervibe without any pressure or worry.

“You can admit it, April,” he whispered. “How much you’ve wanted this.”

“You already know. I’m not getting into it.”

“The crush of all crushes, huh? And it’s all naughty temptation too.”

I shook my head. “What happens when Andy finds out about this?”

Seb’s jaw tightened. “Yeah, that part is tricky. I’m not going to worry about it right now.”

“I mean, if we’re just hooking up…”

“Looking for a label already, April?”

“No.”

“Let’s hang out today,” Seb said. “I’ve got nothing to do.”

“Good for you. I’ve got to work, Seb.”

“Work? Selling that health bar crap?”

“Don’t be a jerk about it,” I said.

I stood up from his lap.

He jumped up too, towering over me.

“Come on, babe, have some fun.”

“I’m here for a job. Not to sleep with you and then entertain you all day.”
