I slapped his hand and the health bar went flying over the railing.
“Then maybe it’s time for me to leave,” I said. “Is that what you want, Seb? You want me out of here? Fine. I’ll pack up, leave right now.”
“I offered to help you,” he said. “I offered to help Andy. That was it.”
“Right. That was it. So sorry for being in your way.”
Back in the apartment, I grabbed my bag of clothes and threw it to the couch.

I took a deep breath and grabbed my bag of clothes.
To get changed and go to work.
Aurora handedme a mug with steam rising up out of it.
“Drink this,” she whispered. “I can feel your energy is confused.”
I sniffed the hot drink and threw my head back.
“It’s a mushroom blend,” she said. “Very potent.”
“I’m allergic to mushrooms,” I lied.
“Oh, shoot,” Aurora said. She took the mug from me. “I’m sorry to hear that.”
“Me too,” I said.
Four hours.
I had been with Sabrina and Aurora for four hours.
Going over marketing material.
Marketing pitches.
Listening to insane ideas such as Sabrina buying a food truck just to drive around and find people who looked tired and in need of energy to sell her health bars to.
She had my head spinning so much I couldn’t figure out what was a good idea and what was complete insanity.
