His brows draw together. “What do you mean?”
“I wasn’t sure whether, you know… If you still… find me attractive…”
He rolls his eyes. Then he takes my face in his hands. He brushes his thumbs across my lips. Then he gives me a soft kiss. “Yes, Catie-with-a-C, I still think you’re the sexiest girl I’ve ever met. And yes, I still want you.” His eyes turn sultry. “I think we need to get some really good practice in before we get baby number three on the way.”
My eyes widen. “Are you serious?”
“Totally. I told you, I think we should have at least six kids.”
I can’t help but smile at that. “Six? You’re a glutton for punishment.”
“Maybe.” He nuzzles my neck and runs his hands down my now-relatively-slim body. “I love you like this. But I love you all curvy, too. I can’t get enough of you.”
A flush of warmth spreads through me. “I don’t know why I’ve been so blessed. I don’t deserve you.”
“You deserve everything you get, Mrs. Chevalier. Including an amazing orgasm or two. Oral first. Then some very slow and gentle penetration. What do you think?”
I shiver. “I like the sound of the menu.”

That makes me laugh. “The man has stamina.”

Turning for a moment, he switches the baby monitor on. Picks up the receiver. Then he bends and lifts me into his arms. I stifle a squeal and put my arms around his neck, and he carries me through to the bedroom.
“We might even be able to grab a snooze afterward,” I point out.
“Oh, you know how to turn me on.” He tosses me onto the bed, then climbs on and lies on top of me.
“You’re squishing me,” I say, breathless.
“Don’t care.” His brown eyes are light and full of love.
I think how wonderful he is, and how much my life has changed in just half a year. And all because I could name all the Doctor Whos in order. Thank God we’re both geeks.
Then he kisses me, and all my thoughts fly out of the window into the autumn sunshine.
