“He’s probably got his tongue down that blonde’s mouth and planning to…”

“Shove his dick inside of her any second now?” Jordan offers.

“Yeah. Fuck.”

“You could go back in there and try to stop him.”

I’m already shaking my head before he finishes talking. “No. I’m ready to go home.” What’s the point of making a fool of myself when it won’t change anything?

“If you say so. You need a ride?”

“Yeah, actually, I do since I’m a fucking cripple without my wheels.”

“How did you get here?”

“I rode with Lyla, Barrett, and…RJ.”

“Then I’ll text Lyla and let her know you’re leaving so she won’t look for you later.”

“Okay, thanks, kid,” I say, then follow him to his car.

CHAPTERTWENTY-FIVE

RJ

“In my opinion, all birthday boys should get blowies,” the girl on my lap says against my ear. “Want to go back to my place so I can give you your present?”

The girl is hot, there’s no doubt about that since her tight red dress barely covers her tits and ass. But she’s not Thane.

I need to forget him. He’s probably not even interested in me anymore. Besides, I wasn’t even sure if I could do more than kiss him, so it’s for the best that nothing else happened between us.

Except all I think about lately is more happening between us.

“You ready to go, baby?” the woman asks as she squirms her ass on my crotch.

And yeah, my dick is hard, so why not? It doesn’t matter that it’s not hard for her, does it?

“Yeah, sure,” I agree. “Let me go tell my ride not to wait around.”

I slap the outside of her thigh to get her off me so I can stand up.

Going over to the women’s table, I walk around to Lyla’s side.

“Hey, birthday boy! How’s your night going?” she asks.

“Ah, fine. I’m leaving with…” I stare over at the blonde, who is smiling at me, but I can’t even come up with a guess.

“You don’t remember her name?”

“I’m not sure if she even told me.”

“Wow.” Lyla shakes her head in disapproval.

“Anyway, I won’t need a ride home with you guys.”

“Okay, cool. Have fun.”

I glance around the bar, wanting to see him one last time before we head out. Not because I’m going to think about him when she’s on her knees or anything. But it’s not a big bar, and he’s nowhere in sight.
