“That’s why Jax is concerned,” Pop guessed correctly.

“A part of it, but he said his gut is telling him something bigger is going on. He offered up his tracker, Striker, but they’re dealing with some shit close to them, and he’s afraid he’d be too distracted. His gut’s also telling him waiting is not an option, so he called me.”

“Becs shouldn’t have taken this outside the club,” Bull commented. “Surprised she did.”

“I’m not,” I admitted. “She wouldn’t want to put this on the club when we’ve got a lot of shit going on. Especially if she wasn’t sure it meant anything.”

“I agree.” Bear nodded. “And she was smart enough not to involve the police, which means we can get in there without any suspicion.”

“What’s he been doin’?”

“Texting her mostly, but he stopped by twice.”

Bull’s eyes widened. “He stopped by your place?” When Bear nodded, he growled. “Fucker has balls.”

“We got a plan?” Ritz asked.

“No.” Bear sighed. “Gotta talk to Becs first and find out what the hell is goin’ on.”

That wasn’t going to work for me. “You do that, brother. I’ll go find this fucker and make sure he doesn’t have plans to see her again.”

“I’ll go with him.” Tank gestured toward me.

“Me too,” Bull added.

“No one’s doing that shit until I know who the fuck we’re dealing with. So far, it’s only been threats. I have a bad feeling these threats have something to do with us, but I can’t figure out what.”

“Only one way to do that, brother. We go to the source,” Bull said, and I jerked up my chin.

“Not the right move,” Bear replied. “Let’s get eyes on him and see what he’s up to. Kyle is going to keep digging, and if he finds anything, he’ll call me, but Jax did say this guy runs with the wealthy in Riverton. He owns a shit ton of property, including the building Manny uses for shooting lessons. Everything is clean, though. There’s money in real estate, but not enough to live the life he’s been livin’ and drive a fucking Ferrari.”

Anger tore through my system when the memory of the guy in the Ferrari, watching Becs, filled my mind. He was watching her. Only her. And she admitted she knew him.

“How the fuck does Becs know a guy like this?”

“No idea.” Bear ran his hand along his beard.

“His name Sal?” I asked.

Bear tilted his head. “How the fuck do you know that?”

“She mentioned him once. But I only knew his first name was Sal. Jax give you a last name?”

“Bianco.” Bear glared at me. “I’m askin’ you to sit on this until I have more information. I know you’re planning to leave here and find this bastard. Trust me, I want to do the same damn thing. But we have no fucking clue what we’re walking into.”

“Think it’s a trap?” Bull asked.

“That’s what I need to figure out,” Bear replied honestly. “I’m not sending any of us into a trap. We’ve been smart. We’re not on police radar and we need to keep it that way.” He studied me closely. “We need to watch him for a while before we move.”

I sighed, but I agreed with him. I wanted to kill this bastard for scaring Becs enough that she went to Elite for help, but the timing wasn’t right. “We need to send a message that Becs is off-limits.”

“We will,” he promised.

“Need me to track him?” Bull asked.

I was surprised when Bear replied because Bull was the most obvious choice. “No. You’ll stand out. We need someone who can blend in.”

We all slowly shifted our attention to Ritz who was grinning. He lifted his hands and put them behind his head. “I got no trouble blending in with the good lookin’ and wealthy.”
