I come hard, a soundless scream leaving my lips as King explodes inside me. Ash doesn’t even give me a minute to calm down. King slips out from under me, and I’m once again laid on my back as Ash thrusts inside me.

I wrap my legs around his waist, and he moves my wrists above my head, restraining them with one hand, then moving back to my throat. I never thought I would be into this, but I guess Ash knows me better than I do right now.

I snort at the thought, and he slows his pace. I mean, duh! I have amnesia. I close my eyes because if Ash sees me rolling them, I have a feeling I won’t be able to sit for the rest of the weekend.

“Something funny, Doll?” he asks, and I shake my head, smiling at him. He grins back at me, and I laugh. I don’t know what is going on, but I feel happy and complete in his arms.

“There’s my girl,” he says, then picks up his pace and fucks me into the mattress. It’s wild, incredible, and when I’ve come for the third time, Ash is covered in nail marks, King has a bloody lip from me biting it, and I know I have bruises along my throat, thighs, and hips.

Someone climbs off the bed, but I can barely move. “Where are you going?” I groan, and King laughs.

“Well, first I have to throw this melted ice cream away, and then I’m going to start you a bubble bath.

My eyes open at that, and I have a better idea. “Let’s shower, then hit the hot tub,” I suggest, and King nods. Ash looks at my naked body and then at the door.

“What’s wrong?” I ask, nervous that he regrets what happened.

“I should probably go kick out the people destroying my house right now,” he mutters, and I try not to show my hurt.

“Oh, okay. Yeah, that makes sense.”

“I’ll see you on Monday,” he says, then climbs off the bed and walks to my closet, grabbing some clothes that I guess belonged to him. Even more proof that he’s been a part of my life for a long time.

I just wish I could remember it. Maybe then things would make more sense.

“Sure, bye, Ash,” I say, then climb off the bed and move to the bathroom.

I decide to have that bath after all and turn the taps on. I put a few capfuls of my vanilla peach bubble bath in, then move to the sink. My hair is destroyed, and so is my makeup.

I get to work removing it and untangling the braids.

King and Ash are arguing in the other room, but I don’t listen. I can’t handle him saying it was a mistake. Tears fill my eyes, and I shake my head at my reflection in the mirror. At how dumb she is for falling for a few pretty words.

So much for a truce.

King

Ash freaked the fuck out and took off. Gracie’s still in the bathtub, and I’m trying to reach the guys. I’m vibrating with rage at how he could just fuck her—no, he made love to her—and then make some shit excuse about going back to the party.

He could have had one of the guys on the team kick everyone out and stayed here. I know they still have a lot to work through, but that was fucked up. “Do you want to join me?” Gracie yells from the other room.

I call Dom again and leave him a voice message to come here if he wants, then move toward the girl who has my heart. I thought when I found Ash and her on the couch earlier, I would have been upset.

They have always had a connection that I couldn’t compete with, but to hear him say he lost her and watch as she struggled not to kiss him. I knew she needed him as much as he needed her, but once again, he’s gone and fucked up.

I’m exhausted from trying to save him and make sure he’s happy. I think it’s time that I focus on my girl and my future. There are only so many times I can drag him out of his depression.

I remove my boxers, dropping them on the floor, then step into the scalding water and sit behind Gracie.

“Fuck, baby, how do you not get third-degree burns?” The water is turning her skin pink, and my balls are burning. She sighs and leans back against my chest.

“I have always loved hot baths; they relax me. I feel brand new when I leave. Like the water purified me or something,” she mumbles, and I laugh.

“You’re not making much sense, babe,” I mutter, and she shrugs.

“Did Ash leave?” she asks, trying to hide how affected she is, but I heard the hitch in her breath.

“He did. He’s a clueless jerk, Gracie. Don’t let him get to you, baby,” I mumble, and she laughs, then cries.
