“What’s goin on?” Koby squawked from the chair.
“Livvy is gonna have a baby brother or sister for you.”
Koby squinted. “In your bewwy?”
“Yes. In my belly.”
“I gonna be a big brother?”
I nodded. “That’s okay?”
He nodded. “Yeah. I guess.”
Not the reaction we’d hoped for, but that was a toddler for you. We spent the rest of the day celebrating our lives and the new life inside me.
