I can’t do this anymore. My father kept secrets from me all my life, he even had a son I didn’t know about. I’m done with things hidden in the dark because they always come to light, and usually at the most inopportune times.

Kai takes a step towards Judah, and Valen’s hand slips around me as he pulls me closer. It’s then that a gasp of surprise slams right into my chest when Judah and Kai’s lips meet in a gentle yet passionate kiss.

Valen’s lips brush against my ear, causing warmth to course through my veins.

“There are secrets in this house, that need to stay behind closed doors, princess,” he whispers as we watch the two men kissing.

Never in my life did I imagine I would witness this, but I can’t deny, there’s something erotic and sensual about their union.

When they finally break the kiss, Judah nods at Kai who then turns towards me. Kai cups my face in his hands, and he leans in. Even as his lips brush against mine, my stare is on Judah. But he doesn’t stop us when Kai kisses me. His tongue dances along my lips, and I can’t help but open my mouth, allowing him inside. He’s gentle and passionate.

Then, Valen’s hands reach up in front of me, and he cups my breasts so lovingly I tremble. His fingers tweak my nipples, causing me to whimper into the kiss.

When the men step back, I’m left shivering and cold from the loss of their warm presence, and I can’t find words to explain what’s racing through my mind.

“That, princess,” Kai says as he regards my shocked features, “is what we mean.”

When Judah steps towards me once more, his hand grips my face, squeezing my cheeks so I can’t move. His eyes blaze with fire.

“I’ll only say this once,” he tells me, keeping his voice low. “If this ever gets out, then it will be on you.”

The underlying threat is clear. I can’t tell anyone about what I’ve seen between them.

He releases me, and I can’t help myself from saying, “You may think I’m a spy, but I’m not. I don’t go around telling everyone things that aren’t mine to tell. If you want to live in the shadows, that’s on you,” I say as I prod at Judah’s chest. It’s the equivalent of poking a sleeping bear. “But in this day and age, no one gives a shit.”

“Our fathers’ do,” Valen says, and Judah flinches. His father is dead. It’s the first time I’ve seen any sort of emotion on his face, other than rage and anger. “We could lose everything if they found out. They still have those old school ideals, and what we have between us is wrong in their eyes.”

If I’m being honest, I didn’t think about it like that. I know how certain relationships cause tension amongst families. Parents who refuse to accept something they don’t understand. Perhaps that’s why Judah has been so adamant in keeping me at arm’s length. But now, he has no reason to. Knowing they’re happy, they’re in love, makes this a beautiful situation rather than a dynamic that should be judged. They’re not hurting each other—they’re keeping each other safe, loved.

“Well,” I respond, turning to Valen and Kai. “I’m not going to say anything.” Relief washes over both of them. It’s the truth, though. Theirs is not a conventional relationship by any means, but I’ve come to like Valen, he’s a good person. I don’t know Kai so well, but there’s a quiet calm that follows him. The only person in this room that could be an issue for me is the man I’m going to marry.

And then it’s Kai who says, “So now you understand what this means for you. There will never only be two of you in the marriage. It will be all of us.”

POSSESSIVE PRINCES

KAI

I’m not at allsure what she’s really thinking. Not many people can accept our rather unique bond, but then again, not many people know about it. But now it’s a secret she’ll have to carry.

We’ve always tried to keep our connection private. If anyone from the families finds out about us, it would mean our downfall. We would lose our rightful places as heirs. I never want to lose Judah and Val, but I don’t want to step away from the head of the Errani family either.

“I… I…” It’s clear Brielle is in shock, but she hasn’t run away, that’s a bonus. “I don’t know what to say.”

“Well,” Judah starts, and I pray he doesn’t say something to scare the princess off. “This is our life. We’ve lived this way since we were seventeen. Nothing has changed it, and nothing will.”

His ultimatum is clear. Judah isn’t going to alter his lifestyle for anyone, not even his future wife. We don’t know Brielle, and he’s right that she could be a spy, but I think we have to give her the benefit of the doubt.

“I’d never ask you to change,” Brielle says, her cheeks are flushed and her lips pouty, making my cock ache.

When I realised I was bi, I didn’t think anything of it. I am attracted to both men and women. But I’ve always known it would never be accepted in the family. Not by my mother or my father. And losing my inheritance is something I can’t risk.

“We need you to understand this is the biggest secret you’ll ever keep,” I tell Brielle, taking a step closer to her. The sweetness of her perfume makes me fucking ache. I grip her chin, gently at first, then I tighten my fingers before lowering my hand to grasp her neck. “If anyone finds out…” a cruel smile curls my lips, “youwillpay.”

“I need time,” Brielle whispers as she looks at me, and tugs away from my harsh grip. She turns her stare towards Valen before focusing her attention solely on Judah. “I’m not going to spill your secrets,” she tells him. “But I need time.”

“Of course,” Judah answers with a nod before he turns and leaves us.

Judah isn’t one for affection—he doesn’t offer it and he doesn’t accept it. The man is stone cold, and he doesn’t like to show emotion. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen him lose his composure.
