Ryder presses his hands to his heart. "I'm kidding. I also think they're romantic."

I roll my eyes. "Next week, I'm showing MediciCare Bears. Then, he can see what a one-hundred-percent non-problematic movie looks like."

"I’m a hairy bear and I wasn’t put in that movie," Enzo drawls. "I’d say that’s a problem."

My friends and I make our way to the far end of the garden. We pass tall trees that sway in the wind, letting off the best smells. Flowers sprout around us, quivering in the sunlight.

A mosquito zaps my arm, and I growl as I slap it. For a second, I’m tempted to let it go—fly home, little guy. Then, I remember that mosquitos are assholes and I’m allergic.

"Shit," I grit out, rubbing my arm. "That’s going to itch."

"Did a mosquito get you?" Enzo ticks his head to the side.

I nod. "Yup."

Enzo gestures toward the sea. "We should take a dip. The salt mitigates the itch."

I lift my gaze and lose my damn balance when I stare at the ocean. Oh.Oh.The glistening blue blanket stretches as far as the eye can see. Sailboats bounce over waves, the wind propelling them. A steamship toots its horn in the distance, which elicits a giggle from my lips.

Closing my eyes, I inhale the salty air. Feel the sunshine on my cheeks. Allow it to relax me. "This is incredible."

Enzo pokes my side. "Last one in the water is a rotten egg."

I push out a snort. "I think I’m going to head back to Medici."

Ryder shoots me a sympathetic look. "No swimming?"

"You three go ahead." I claw back a grin. "I’ll be fine."

Enzo shrugs. "If you say so."

"Come on." Cyan rips off his clothes. "Let’s go skinny dipping."

"Don't go without me," two voices shout.

I turn to the left to see Dino and Giosuè running toward my friends—naked.

Ryder emits a groan. "You scared us last time."

"Yeah," Cyan whines. "You playedJawsand we thought there were sharks."

"Giosuè left the boombox at Nonna’s," Dino teases. "He swears."

I glance down at Dino’s naked form—shit. He’s hung. Even more so than I remember from the olive grove.

Giosuè glares at me. "Quit staring at my friend’s dick."

I roll my eyes. "I’ve already seen it."

"Give me two of your inches," Cyan begs, covering his midsection. "Your length isn’t fair."

Dino thrusts his smooth arm around Cyan’s shoulder. "Be proud of your size. And your dick in general. There’s only one like it in the world—embrace your uniqueness."

Dino is now a motivational speaker.

"Let’s go!" Giosuè is done messing around.

My friends rush down a path leading to the sea.
