“Are they actual babies?” she whispered to Hack.

“No. He’s referring to Brody and Autumn. His Littles,” he whispered back.

Whoa. Two Littles and one Daddy? That sounded insane. She couldn’t share Hack. No way.

“Markovich is doing some research, but you know that he and Dahlia aren’t here at the moment,” Reyes said. “And he doesn’t have much to do with the cartels.”

“And you think I do?” the Fox murmured.

“We figured you know about everyone and everything,” Sunny told him.

“Ah, my sweet girl, you do have faith in me. And it’s well-placed. Now, I really need to go—”

“There’s one more thing,” Hack said quickly.

The Fox sighed. “I have a lot of patience, but you’re wearing it thin.”

“You have no patience,” Reyes muttered. Emme elbowed him in the stomach.

“I heard that,” the Fox said silkily.

“Have you ever interfered in Greer’s life?” Hack asked.

“Interfered in Greer’s life . . . who is Greer again?”

Was he being sarcastic or had he really forgotten about her?

“I’m Greer,” she said. Hack tightened his hold on her. Shoot. Should she not have spoken up?

“Right. Sav’s sister. I forgot. Why would I interfere in her life?”

“So you never sent her anything? Or intimidated her landlord or killed someone involved in an armed robbery of a diner?” Hack asked.

“Not that I recall. Now, I have to go. My friend is getting a bit sleepy. Come on friend, I’ll sing you a song to keep you awake. One, two, three, four, what shall the Fox cut? A finger, a toe or maybe a nut?” he sang.

The call ended.

“That was . . .” she trailed off.

“Terrifying?” Emme asked dryly. “That’s the Fox. But he loves and adores Sunny.”

Greer glanced over at Sunny, who shrugged and smiled. “He’s always protected me. It sounds like he’s not Greer’s stalker. Which seemed very unlikely.”

“But that leaves the question of who is,” Hack said tiredly. “How can we figure this out?”

“Did you ever notice anyone following you?” Reyes asked. “Was there anyone in your building that gave you weird vibes?”

“No. I never really went anywhere. There’s no one I can think of.”

“You date anyone in Savannah?” Spike asked.

“No. No one. Like I said, I rarely went anywhere.”

“She was on one of those kink sites,” Hack said. “She met a couple of so-called Daddies.”

She squirmed on his lap.

“That doesn’t sound safe,” Duke said with a scowl. “Does Sav know about that?”
