Pacing her tiny apartment,Addie smoothed her hands over her belly.

“We’re okay, baby.”

She was still confused, her emotions churning. But that wasn’t unusual lately. Her hormones had her all over the place. The other day, she’d cried at an ad for coffee on the TV.

She also had a violent craving for cookie dough ice cream with salt-and-vinegar chips. Together. It was weird, but it was what she wanted.

She checked her freezer and found only an empty ice tray.

“Sorry, baby. I’ll get some ice cream tomorrow.”

She turned, and spied the scrunched-up note on the floor. Her stomach rolled. It had to just be someone playing some sick joke on her.

But who would do that?

It had all started a few weeks after Bram had left. She’d hoped when she’d moved apartments and jobs that whoever it was would stop.

But they hadn’t.

The notes had kept coming.

Fear felt like a rough hand squeezing her insides. She wanted Bram.

No. You’re stronger than this. You don’t need a man.A hot shower and some sleep were what she needed.

It’d been a big day, and seeing Bram had left her shaken up. She checked her locks and turned the lights off, but left the lamp in the living room on.

She hated the dark. Ever since she was a kid, it had freaked her out. Her mom told her to grow up and quit wasting money. She’d always made Addie turn off the light and sleep, terrified, in the darkness.

Now that Addie was an adult and on her own, she could do what she wanted. When Bram had stayed over, he’d never made her turn the lamp off or made her feel silly about it.

She bit her lip, then grabbed the note off the floor and shoved it in the top drawer in the kitchen with the others. Out of sight, out of mind.

The same couldn’t be said for the big Irishman. He was still in her thoughts when she headed for the shower. She turned on the water, then stripped off her On the Rocks uniform. Steam filled the small room, fogging the mirror.

For a second, she was back in her old apartment. A strong memory hit her—rich and vibrant. Her and Bram, naked. He was so much bigger than her. He was crowding in behind her in the bathroom.

Grip the counter, sunshine. His voice was like gravel, that sexy, Irish accent making her belly flutter. His fingers had slid between her thighs, stroking her.

Her moans, the way he’d filled her, taking her from behind.

She closed her eyes, reliving every second. She moaned.

Addie jolted.Oh, God. Her body was humming with need, her nipples were hard, and she was wet between her thighs.

Swallowing, she got in the shower. The warm water on her sensitive skin made her moan. She cupped her breasts. They were already larger, and she imagined Bram’s rough hands on them.

“Bram,” she whispered.

She let one hand drift down, over her round belly, and between her legs.

“Oh.” Heat washed over her. She nudged her folds and found her clit. “Please, touch me, Bram.”

In her mind, she heard his accented voice urging her on, telling her that she was beautiful. That she was his sunshine.

She wanted him here. His hands on her, his big body pressed against hers, his big cock filling her.
