“Morning,” the head of Sentinel Security said.

Addie nodded, and saw Hex eyeing her and Bram, a faint smile on the hacker’s face.

“Addie, here’s breakfast for you.” Hex brandished something wrapped in white paper.

The smell of bacon and eggs made Addie’s mouth water. “Thanks, Hex.”

“What did you find?” Bram asked.

“It might be nothing, so don’t get too excited yet.” Hex jerked a thumb at Killian. “The boss man’s contacts came through. A Russian businessman here in New York—” her nose wrinkled “—and I use the term businessman lightly—might have intel on our guy.”

“Sergei Limonov owns some clubs in Brooklyn,” Killian said. “He’s an okay guy, always eager to stay on my good side.”

Addie couldn’t imagine ever being on Killian’s bad side. She fought back a shiver.

“I’ll pay him a visit,” Bram said.

Killian lifted his chin. “I’ll go with you.”

“And Addie, I have more riveting CCTV for you to wade through,” Hex said. “And to liven things up a little, I’ll show you how to hack into a locked cell phone.”

“Whatever I can do to help.” Addie’s heart knocked in her chest. She looked at Bram. “You’ll be safe?”

His lips quirked. “Yes, sunshine. I can take care of myself, and I’ll have Killian with me.”

Killian nodded. “I’ll have his back. Plus, Devyn will probably meet us. She’s out doing something, but will join us once she’s finished.”

Bram pressed a kiss to Addie’s forehead. “Stay with Hex.”

Addie nodded.

“I’ll see you when I get back.”

Then they were gone.

“You’ve got the look of a woman who spent the morning in bed with a big, sexy hunk of an Irishman,” Hex said.

Addie’s cheeks flamed and she sat, rubbing her belly. She took a bite of her breakfast sandwich. She hadn’t had a chance to make close girlfriends after she’d moved to New York, so she never gossiped about men or dating with anyone. She’d started from scratch after leaving home, and dancing had kept her busy. It was also a cutthroat world, so she hadn’t really bonded with any other dancers. She’d met Saskia during their ordeal, but afterward, the other woman had fallen in love with her hot guy and moved to San Francisco. They talked on the phone, but it wasn’t the same.

“Um, not in bed,” Addie said.

“Ooh, so Bram can get creative, huh? I wouldn’t have pegged him for that.”

“We’ve fooled around, but… We haven’t gone all the way.”

Hex cocked her head. “But you want to.”

“Yes.” She clenched her hands. “He’s holding back. I think he’s just looking out for me because I’m pregnant and he feels obligated.”

Hex laughed. “That’s not it.”

“It isn’t?”

“No. You’ve been through a lot. You’re pregnant. That was a shock for both of you. He’s feeling off balance and he knows you must be, too. Especially with this stalker thing. He’s a good guy, Addie. He won’t take advantage.”

“He did say that, but I want him to take advantage.”

Hex grinned. “So, it’s up to you. You need to seduce your baby daddy.”
