Devyn’s eyebrows went up, then she smiled. “Congratulations, Addie. God, the big guy will lose his mind. I can imagine him cradling a baby girl. Wrestling a little boy.”

Oh. Wonder hit Addie. She could picture that so clearly.

“The big guy won’t do the business with Addie,” Hex said.

“Hex!” More heat filled Addie’s cheeks.

“Hmm.” Devyn sat in a chair and crossed her long legs. “He’s overprotective to the max. He’s being consumed by guilt, knowing that you thought he ghosted you.”

“But he wants you, Addie,” Hex added. “So much it’s making him crazy.”

Devyn nodded. “That’s a given.”

“You think?” Addie asked.

“Yep.” Devyn’s gaze narrowed. “And I think he’d do anything for you. Why don’t you ask him for what you want?”

“I can’t order him to…”

“Fuck you hard and make you scream?” Devyn suggested.

Hex laughed, and Addie clapped her hands to her cheeks.

“That man would do anything for you,” Devyn added quietly.

“But I want him to do it because he wants to.”

Devyn smiled. “I really don’t think you have to worry about that.”

Hex nodded.

Addie needed to mull it over. Could she demand Bram make love to her? Just the thought left her feeling shivery.

“So, I actually have news.” Devyn’s face turned serious.

“What?” Hex asked.

“Pam,” the redhead said darkly.

“She’s gone,” Hex said.” You can’t go all Hellfire on her and kill her.”

Addie blinked. “Kill her?” She turned to Devyn. “She’s joking, right?”

“No,” Devyn said, face bland.

Addie felt like she was getting a glimpse of the CIA spy, the woman who could go toe-to-toe with Killian Hawke.

“Pam was fired,” Hex said. “She’s out. Done.Finito.”

“I found evidence that our friend Pammy got several large payments into her bank account, around the time Addie came into the Sentinel Security looking for Bram,” Devyn said.

“What?” Hex flew to her computer and started tapping.

“I suspect she’s in contact with someone else who didn’t want Addie and Bram re-connecting,” Devyn added.

“My stalker?” Addie breathed.

Devyn nodded. “I think so. Sorry.”
