“We all will,” Killian said. “Let’s tear his life apart. If you need hacking help…”

Hex nodded. “I’ll contact Remi or Ace.”

Remi was a former hacker who’d once worked for Sentinel Security, before she’d married tech billionaire Maverick Rivera. Ace Oliveira worked for Norcross Security in San Francisco. They’d both helped out Sentinel Security before.

“Hex, we also need a local base of operations,” Devyn said. “Something close by.”

Bram was glad they weren’t heading back to New York. The thought of leaving without Addie ripped him apart.

“I’ll find us somewhere,” Hex said.

Devyn touched Bram’s arm. “I won’t tell you not to worry, but we are going to find her. She’s waiting for you. She’s going to keep herself and those babies safe until you do.”

Bram fought to get some air into his tight lungs. He imagined Addie smiling at him.

I trust you.

I know you’ll come.

He wasn’t helpless anymore. He wasn’t a teenage boy watching his mother and sister ripped away from him.

This time, he’d find his woman and bring her home.

Hold on for me, Addie.

He didn’t want to consider what she might need to do to survive. He gritted his teeth. He wasn’t giving up. She wouldn’t give up.

“Let’s find my woman.”

* * *

Addie groaned, her eyelids fluttering. She felt so groggy.

Strong arms slid under her and lifted her.

“There you go,milaya.”

The male voice had a strong accent, but it wasn’t Irish.

She opened her eyes, light stabbing at her like needles. She moaned. She was being lifted out of a car.

Everything whirled sickeningly.

She whimpered. It felt familiar. For a second, she was plunged back into her nightmare abduction. She’d been drugged then, too, woozy, carted around.

No, Mikhailov was gone.

She turned her head and saw Kozlov.

No. She moaned again.

“Shh, sweet Adaline.”

“You…drugged me.”

“Just so you’d sleep.”

“Babies…” Worry spiked through her.
