Callum landed a chaste kiss on my cheek before he rolled off me and dashed away, discarding pieces of clothing as he made his way closer to the water’s edge.
If I hadn’t been swooning so badly over his touch and the striptease happening in front of me, I might have calmed myself enough to chase after him. Pushing up on my elbow, I caught a glimpse before his naked body dove under the water. Moments later, he resurfaced, squirting water out of his mouth like a human fountain.

“I don’t respond to threats, McArthur. You’re wasting your time.” I quirked an eyebrow, amused by his persistence.
He smirked. “Four.” The water dropped lower on his body as he moved closer to the edge of the river. “It’s not a threat, darlin’.”
If only he knew already how tempted by his threats I was, but unyielding with giving in just yet, the promise of seeing him in all his naked glory stuttered my heartbeat.
“Five.”
