“Oh my god, I’m definitely offering them a lap dance,” Monique said, adding another layer of mascara to her full lashes.

“I bet they are amazing in the sack.” Aphrodite smiled, biting her bottom lip. Her wheat-blond hair laid in soft waves over her slender shoulders.

“We have real alphas in the audience.” Eve pressed her palms against her impressive bare chest. I saw more tits and ass on any given day than most men saw in six months.

“I’m going to change into my stars and stripes outfit,” Venus declared, going through the clothing rack at hyper-speed as she searched for the bra and panty set she wanted.

Monique gasped. “Oh, I think I have a sailor costume I could wear.”

A flurry of activity erupted as they each made changes to their outfits for the evening. And felt as if I had done my part for our armed forces. My girls would be crawling all over them tonight, offering them whatever they wanted. With my performance in mind, I headed to the racks of clothing, thumbing through them until I found the costume I wanted.

I hated that my first thought was what Ben would think of my outfit. The man had been on my mind nonstop, and I didn’t like it at all. It gave him far too much power over me.

The memory of his firm lips made my lips buzz. Without a doubt, it had been the most devastating kiss of my existence. It knocked me off my axis, and I had yet to regain my balance. How could I, when being near him disrupted my center of gravity?

I helped my girls with their hair and outfits before tackling my own.

And I couldn’t help but wonder what Ben would think of my routine.

The seven of us took up two of the round black tables in the audience. A table in front of us stood between us and the stage, but we were close. Seated with me were Roman, Lucas, and Aiden. While Liam, Owen, and James were at the table behind us. The guys were enjoying the show, especially since the strippers paid particular attention to our group. I wondered if that was Moira’s doing.

But I wasn’t really watching any of the strippers. All I had done was sip on the same beer for the past two hours. I wanted to be alert. It was the only way I’d be able to spot anything or anyone out of the ordinary. This wasn’t a night out with my bros. It was a mission.

“Are you sure that the stalker is someone who comes to the club?” Roman asked low enough the music would drown out his words so our conversation wasn’t overheard.

“Yeah, it’s what Moira believes.” And it seemed like the most likely scenario. If this was where Moira spent the bulk of her time, it would make sense. That didn’t mean we would rule out her neighbors or anyone else.

“Did the spook come through?”

“Yep. They’re trying to trace the hack for us now. But whoever did it covered their tracks well. Wyatt texted me that the spook just left. They found six bugs at the house, both outside and inside her home.”

“Damn. Her stalker is hardcore. I contacted my buddy with the police. He’ll meet us for breakfast Sunday if you’re up for it.”

After everything the spook found, we needed to get the local police to investigate. “Count me in.”

“Will do.”

The lights in the club dimmed, signaling the next act. The announcer’s voice boomed over the loudspeakers. “And now for a real treat. Coming on to the stage is the one, the only, Moira!”

What the—

She said she wasn’t dancing tonight.

The spotlight illuminated a portion of the stage. Moira stood dead center in a tuxedo with a top hat and cane. The first strains ofSinging in the Rainplayed. But I wasn’t paying attention to any of it. Not when my entire being was fixated on the woman on stage.

Moira began a series of intricate dance moves. The crowd went wild when she tossed the top hat into the audience. The way she moved was magic.

I stared, entranced at the vision she created on stage. Every part of my being came alive as she removed her outfit piece by piece. I forgot why we were here. All thoughts of her stalker vanished. Even the need to have her read Evan’s letter was shredded by the lust infusing me.

Jesus, fuck!

She was a damn knockout. She was down to only a sparkly bra and thong. I’d never seen a woman with such command of her body. It was sexy as fuck.

I wanted her with every fiber of my being.

I knew it was wrong, lusting after her. Even knowing there was more to the story behind Evan’s botched proposal didn’t absolve me of my sins. Instead, it drove home just how tarnished my soul was because I couldn’t help but imagine having her gorgeous body ride me.
