I craved her taste. Wondered if her pussy would be even sweeter than her lips. And not giving a fuck that I was crossing lines.

She was an enchantress. Luring men into believing that when she stared at them, he was what she craved, body and soul.

I wanted to fuck her, and not just any type of fucking. I wanted to own her. I wanted to drag her down into the depths of depravity with me and work out every goddam fantasy I had ever had on her stunning form.

I wanted to worship her body until she was writhing and begging me to fuck her.

There was a savage inside me who wanted to drag her away to a remote location and make her my fucking slave. Get her so addicted to my cock she wouldn’t be able to go a day without it.

Thunderous applause jolted me out of my fantasy. I fought for calm, to remain unaffected, to deflate the desire riding me like a drill sergeant. I shifted in my seat and winced.

Moira was trying my patience. I’d bet she did it on purpose. She knew we were here tonight and decided to put on a show. I was putting an end to this stunt. She needed to read the damn letter. Then on Sunday, I could get the local police to take over the stalking issue and leave to join the rest of my crew.

In nothing but a sparkly thong and heels, Moira stepped off the stage, smiling at patrons as she headed toward the door in the back markedpersonnel only.

I rose from my seat, my attention latched onto Moira and nothing else.

“Where are you going?” Roman asked before I could escape.

“I need to talk to Moira.”

“Uh huh. Is that what they’re calling it these days?” Roman asked.

I yanked two twenties from my wallet and tossed them on the table, not deigning to answer Roman’s question. “Next round is on me.”

Winding through the tables, in hot pursuit of my quarry, I caught the door before it closed. Trailing her down the hall, I watched her sweet ass disappear through an office door. I didn’t hesitate when I reached the door. Just shoved the damn thing open.

I entered and found her covering up with a robe. She glanced over her shoulder and scowled at my sudden intrusion.

“What are you doing in here?” She chided me like a school kid who’d snuck into the teacher’s lounge.

I scanned her office. I wasn’t sure what I expected to find, but it wasn’t this. Her office was nothing but professional. There weren’t any nude images on the wall. In fact, the decor was rather bland, with a heavy, expensive mahogany desk and matching credenza. The walls were a light taupe with golden pine floors. It was rather tasteful, if I had to be honest.

“What’s with the flowers?” I nodded toward the long-stem roses I spied in the trash can.

“Just leave it the fuck alone, Ben. It’s none of your business.” She finished belting the robe and finally turned my way.

Disappointment flooded me that she was no longer naked. Although it certainly made it easier to talk to her. But I knew what lay beneath the robe. I couldn’t help but caress her form with my gaze. If we were different people, I’d already be laying the schmooze on thick, doing whatever I could to get her into bed.

“Well, Evan made it my business.” And I couldn’t leave until that business was concluded.

“Why are you guys still here?” She plunked her hands on her hips, glaring with exasperation.

That made the two of them. I was just as frustrated.

“The guys are leaving tomorrow.” A twinge of sadness suffused me at being left behind to complete this portion of the mission. We only had until the end of our leave time together before we all dispersed to new positions. Every day I wasn’t with them was one less day we had together as a unit.

“They are. But you aren’t?” She shifted and crossed her arms in front of her chest. The move accentuated her breasts covered by little more than silk that did nothing to hide her nipples nor the shape of those pale beauties.

If she wanted to be stubborn, fine. Two could play this game. I took a similar stance and crossed my arms. “Nope. I’m staying behind.”

“Why, Ben?” She sighed dramatically.

Did she really not understand the danger she was in? Did she really think I would let her fend for herself with a psychopath stalking her? “Let me make myself clear so you understand, and we can stop rehashing this point. I can’t leave. Evan would want me to stay and make sure you’re safe. I’m not leaving until we catch your stalker and they’re behind bars.”

“Do you really think it's necessary?”

“Moira, we found six bugs at your house and cameras that don’t go with your security system on some of the trees in your yard. James discovered that your security system was hacked and that someone has been using it to spy on you.” I wasn’t going to mention the agent. It would muddle things even further. I was giving her the information she needed to know so that she stopped discounting the serious nature of this problem.
