Her lids dropped to half mast. Eyes that held the promise of heaven and tempted me to face my demons to become what she needed.

My fingers tunneled through her hair to gently massage the back of her neck.
Her lips parted on a moan as her head fell back weakly into my hands.

Tightening my grip, I moved closer, my mouth a whisper from hers. I forced my lips away from hers and dragged my face down her throat. Pressed my mouth to her neck.

Everything in me begged to dip my head and tongue her over her blouse. I shook with the force of my desire.
“See? We’re not going to have a problem,” I gritted out as I released her.
I watched her walk, dazed, to her room and stayed there until she closed her door before getting ready for bed.
Sleep, however, did not come.

I laughed as I thought back to how Sia poked and squeezed at Hope’s full breasts as if she was fluffing a pillow before nestling in. Neither Kerry nor Melissa boasted an ample bust.
The tenderness on Hope’s face as she smoothed Sia’s hair back with her baby brush, pulled it up into a topknot, and secured it with a tiny scrunchie from her purse.
I rubbed my jaw.
It hurt from smiling.
I loved seeing her with Sia.
I wondered if there was a time my dad felt the same about my stepmother with me.

I swung my head around to look at him. “Are you fucking kidding me?”
Without looking at me, he shook his head and continued to change out his lens. “I’m not. She’ll settle down if you’re not here.”
I seethed. “So, this is because of me?”
He smiled and huffed out a wry laugh. “Of course, it is.”
“Do you have history with her?” I asked tightly.
