I opened my arms.

A few people started to look at us.

Now anyone with half a hockey brain knew who Remi and I were.

They didn’t know a thing about how much Remi and I hated each other, but they knew we were on the same team.

I thought about it for a second.

Coach and Mags calling us into the office to tear us apart because we were headline news across the sports world for fighting each other in a bar.

“I’ll just pay the tab and leave,” Remi said.

“No chance,” I said. “I’m paying the tab.”

“Why? So you can show off in front of my sister? Or tell the team you paid for my drinks? Fuck off, Riff.”

“You fuck off first, Remi,” I said. “You want to pay the tab to make it seem like you controlled the night.”

“What the hell is your issue?”

“What is yours?” I asked.

“You,” Remi said. He stepped toward me. “My issue has always been you.”

“Not always, Remi,” I smirked.

His right hand twitched.

Fiona moved between us. “You both are macho-jock assholes. And, plus, I already paid the bartender.”

“What?” both Remi and I asked at the same time.

“I don’t have time to stand here and watch you two idiots fight over a bar tab,” Fiona said. “So I paid it.The woman paid it.Hope that makes you both feel like crap now.”

She turned and strutted away.

Leaving both Remi and I jaw-dropped.

I took the opportunity to eye her ass for a second or two.

That perfect ass.

I wondered if my handprints were still there from me gripping tight and pulling at her as I fucked her…

Remi blocked my field of vision.

“I’ll make sure you get where you’re going,” he said to Fiona.

“What? Why?”

“Because I’m your big brother and I can,” Remi said. “I want to see where you’re sleeping while you’re here. Make sure you’re safe.”

Fiona glanced at me for a split second.

How the hell are we going to get out of this mess again?

I feltuseless as I stood in the kitchen of my condo, waiting to hear from Fiona.
